Cozy place for peace and quiet on the banks of Drina river

Nice and cozy, right on the banks of the river. Close enough to the city if you need to get something and far enough so you can enjoy the peace and quiet. We were in the winter (it was snowing) and it was nice and warm. Hosts were polite and helpful.

Great stay and lovely place

Lovely cabin next to the river. I had a great 4 night stay at Mars na Drinu. Pretty little cabin with a great bed and cozy livingroom area. I travelled alone without a car and it went well. Just if you are wondering would that work. 15-20min walk to the center with grosery shops & restaurants. Also 20min walk to the bus station. Bare in mind that when it gets dark it gets really dark to get to the cabin :) Many dogs & cats live around the cabin as well so you are never really alone :)

I liked everything. It’s a cabin not a 5* hotel if you are looking for that. And ofc different kinds of bugs live in the woods as well to keep you company :)

Has a big potential, but need better maintenance

Very calm and romantic house with incredible view. The house has almost everything you need for vacation. Cute dogs and cats welcomed us and we really liked them.

We really didn’t like that hygiene was very poor - on both beds bedsheets were with strangers hair, and everywhere was a lot of spider webs. Bathroom could be renovated.

What a beautiful location, bang on the Drina, yet not even 5 mins from the city centre! The cottage is beautiful, the most stunning views, so tastefully done, and Milica was a great and accommodating host. No better place to stay in Bajina Basta!

Location, interiors and surroundings

Loved the cottage interiors and the location itself next to drina river. It was very pleasant and romantic. The fact that we can order food at the cottage made it even comfortable. We will definately visit again. The owner was very welcoming and sweet.

There was no mosquito net on windows, so we couldn't open windows to air out the house.

Superb

It is right beside the river, the getaway from the city we needed. Everything is new, wi fi is great, the heating also The calm you have during the day is phenomenal. In walking distance of the city and you can easily explore places near.

The lighting in the kitchen, opening of the fridge, no anti mosquito net in the bedroom. Also it would be better if the grass had grown in the yard. Everything stated is not even relevant for the stay 😁
