Friendly home and host in residential neighborhood

The owner / host was very friendly. Even though she didn't speak English, she made it clear where everything we needed was located in the apartment. There was a ton of space. It is a large apartment with 2 bedrooms, kitchen and large living area on 2nd floor of Owner's home. She and her husband live on first floor.

While it wasn't an issue for me, it did feel like I was staying in someone's s home. There is a locking door at bottom of stairs going up to 2nd floor apartment, so it seems secure. It may be an issue for some though. The home was pretty dark on arrival too.
