About this house rental
The Tiny Red Barn is a labor of love built by us for you on the Diascund Reservoir with water views, wooded trails and sunsets. Heavily wooded land with rolling trails, birds, deer, squirrels, turtles, chickens, and donkeys. A large amount of our property sits on the Diascund Reservoir which provides a whole other side of nature.

Mini Donkeys - we currently have several minis.
They are secured by a fence and have their own barn.
Adults, children and pets are strictly PROHIBITED from entering their fenced in area at any time without a host being present. DO NOT FEED or place hands, or fingers into their fenced in area.
If you wish to meet them and have a grooming session, we’ll do our best to make that happen .
If you are bringing a dog, make sure to enter that in the dropdown when booking as you would number of guests. There is a $50 dog fee.

My family of 4 stayed there and my brother and sister in law joined us for half the stay. It was so cute, clean and well appointed. Communication with host was super quick and pleasant. My 13 year old twins loved going out by the lake and catching frogs and lightening bugs (the critters remained unharmed) and petting the donkeys. We were able to visit Williamsburg and Busch Gardens about 30 minutes away then enjoy the rural setting and relax.

We loved The Tiny Red Barn! My son loved the dock and caught quite a few fish! We even decided to skip some sightseeing just so we could relax and enjoy the property more. Very clean and welcoming! Beds are very comfortable! Do not hesitate to book this place...we didn't want to leave! You are close to many activities but far enough away to really unwind and relax! Beautiful location!

Virginia was AWESOME! She was incredibly quick to answer any questions we had and always pointed us in the right direction—including where to find great pizza!The property was immaculate, yet still felt warm and inviting. It was beautifully maintained without ever feeling like we were afraid to touch anything. We were genuinely sad to leave.The fresh eggs and homemade cookies were the icing on the cake and made our stay even more special.If I had to suggest one small improvement, it would be a little more dresser space for clothes. Even that is a very minor detail and certainly wouldn’t keep us from coming back.Between the location, the water, and an amazing host, this place is absolutely spectacular. We can’t wait to return.Thank you, Virginia, for being AWESOME!

The pictures on the site are good. When you walk into the house it is bigger and a comfortable home. Virginia was a gracious host. My husband, daughter, and grandchildren caught fish from the dock. They also enjoyed the kayaks. We plan to visit again!
