This was by far the most disappointing of my stays in Bali. Location was far from anything walkable and I had no scooter when I arrived there. You definitely need a scooter or an app to get anywhere. Furthermore, there was no indication that nobody would be there after 6PM. When I arrived at 7:30PM, there was nobody there to let me in my room. It was only when another guest arrived that they were able to message them that I was there. They indicated that the key was in the door to the room down the hall. Had I not seen that guest, I would have been standing there for hours as there was no instructions posted in the hallway to check my messages. (I don't have a local number.) When I finally did enter my room, there was a VERY STRONG chemical smell, stronger than bleach. So strong that I seriously considered just moving to another hotel and giving up the payment I had already paid on booking. On top of that, there was no toilet paper, and the next day they informed me they don't provide it for the room. Just an awful situation all around. The pics of the hotel look nice in front of a rice paddy field, and the room would have been comfortable enough, but the chemical smell, lack of entry instructions, lack of toilet paper, location not close to anything, all made it a big big thumbs down for me. I'm a seasoned traveler and am pretty flexible when traveling overseas in foreign countries, but I won't ever be staying there again.
