Welcome to The Lookout cottage, The Bay, Filey.
Please don't be put off by the lack of reviews, we are the new owners of The Lookout. We are experienced hosts, please feel free to search our other two cottages at the Bay and read our lovely reviews.

The Lookout is a beautiful two bed, pet friendly cottage with stunning sea views, sleeping five. Luxury open plan kitchen, dining and lounge with log burner and bi-fold doors leading out a furnished patio. Landscaped open plan gardens surround the cottage.
Upstairs the master bedroom has a double bed, bedroom furniture and bi-fold doors leading to a balcony area with stunning panoramic sea views. The second bedroom sleeps with three with bunks and a single bed.
The family bathroom has a shower over the bath, WC and sink.
There is a further WC downstairs.

We’re taking extra steps to make sure you and all your family feel safe and well when you stay in one of our cottages. They are deep-cleaned and sanitized prior your arrival. Alongside our extensive sanitation program, you will collect the keys from our secure safe store at the rear of the property. Whilst visiting us at The Bay, please do follow all the governments safe distancing rules and guidelines.
Our aim to to provided our guests with a fantastic stay. We also have another two, three bed cottages sleeping 6 in each. All our cottages are and are situated at the prestigious award winning holiday village "The Bay" Filey.

A great base for exploring Filey a charming and historic seaside town only 3 miles away, and also Scarborough, Bridlington and the Moors, York and the City of Hull all within a hours drive.
With great on-site facilities and direct access to the beach, the cottages offer excellent accommodation for a traditional holiday in a lovely area.
Beautifully decorated and furnished these cottages are situated in communal landscaped grounds. On the Complex there is free access to the indoor heated pool, with children's pool area, steam room and sauna. A well equipped Gym, children plays area and small arcade. Tennis court and archery are all available to guests as well as other children's activities for a small fee.

The Lookout is just a short10 min walk to miles of award winning sandy beach.

All stays include bedding and towels as well as exceptional cleaning.
The house features:
Entrance hall and cloakroom with luxury downstairs WC.
Lounge / Kitchen / Dining – a generous open plan lounge / kitchen / dining with a fully fitted contemporary style kitchen with all integrated appliances and dining area with spacious dining table and seating for five people. Patio doors lead onto the furnished patio with outdoor seating. All properties are surrounded by a large shared garden and landscaped grounds.
Our house offers a long wheelchair entrance ramp which is ideal for prams/pushchairs.
We supply a cot and highchair free of charge. For a small fee we will welcome well behaved dogs (2 max) and even supply bowls for when they are thirsty after a long walk.
This property is strictly No Smoking and to maintain the family friendly nature of the development we do not allow groups of single guests.
Included in the property letting is unlimited access to a 20m indoor heated swimming pool and gym, tennis and games as well as beach access.

Fully relaxing time in a well kept cottage, it is well maintained and exceptionally clean decor and fittings are excellent, the host Victoria was a pleasure to deal with, myself and my wife would recommend this property without question

Property has a great location for easy access to the beach. It
was very comfortable and clean and had all amenities needed for our short stay. We could accommodate the dogs crate in the living area which meant that Stanley slept well in his own bed. The resort is very dog friendly also very well kept. The nearby beach a dream for dog walking. Enjoyed our stay and hope to return next year.

We have stayed at The Bay several times and on our walk to the beach we had often looked at this property and said what a perfect location this would be- such a short distance from the beach and a view overlooking the sea.
This year we decided to book it and we were not disappointed- from the ease of booking. and great communication from the owner to the actual property itself which was lit up with Christmas lights and decorated inside for Christmas. A little welcome gift of chocolates, sweets and crisps was a lovely touch.
Logs supplied for the wood burner.
The property itself was top quality with a brand new fitted kitchen with everything you need including a washer dryer and dishwasher
Bedrooms were gorgeous with great views, the bed was the most comfiest that I have slept on!
Filey itself is gorgeous and the beach is my favourite place.
Highly recommended and we hope to be back next year!
