Terrible experience, would not recommend.

I did not like anything about the apartment.

The company that manages the apartments called me on the day of arrival 7 or 8 times as well as emailed me constantly and sent me whats app messages. It was an exhausting check in experience. I had to tell them to please stop messaging me and contacting me. Check in was supposed to be at 16:00 and they they would only let us check in after 16:00 because of some admin issue (which should have been sorted out before hand not on the day of arrival). The entrance to the property was extremely dirty and the apartment had not been cleaned properly. The floors had dirt and chips on them, we moved one of the beds and there was an old covid mask and dirt under it, marks all over the walls, and the windowsills were full of dust. Some of the crockery in the kitchen had not been cleaned properly. No tablets for the dishwasher, not enough toilet paper. Bad wifi signal. One of the tv's needed to be repaired and the person to fix them was two and a half hours late. There was only paid parking available which was not mentioned in the description. Location was terrible. I emailed on the day of booking for an early check in and late check out. No one communicated this to me, I had to call them and message about this and they only let me know on the day of arrival, when we were already on route that we could check in 2 hours earlier for £20. After all the complaints they offered us 1 hour later check out to 'compensate'!

Spacious accommodation with Excellent location

The rooms are spacious and have good supply of pillows. The kitchen-lounge was spacious and there were ample of utensils and cutlery provided. Location of the property was the best feature with Asda, malls, market. Restaurants and petrol station in very close proximity.

Although we enjoyed our stay I would suggest 2 inexpensive things to make the experience better: Table Fans for hot summer days and door lock in the bathroom

Absolutely everything the apartment was exactly as the photo's on booking .com All we had to do was add food. Could not have wished for a better accommodation. If the tournament is on again next year we will be back. Have already informed other members of World Billiards.

A lovely central apartment, ideal for small groups and those on public transport!

A lovely flat, comfortable, warm, nicely decorated, with plenty of space. Comfortable beds and sofa, nice big dining table for food and board games, lovely shower! Fully appointed kitchen with laundry facilities was brilliant to have.

Only one bathroom, with a family of 4 this was not ideal, lots of queuing for the bathroom; although this is an apartment that can sleep 9 I would advise against it as there’s not enough facilities for that many, nor enough lounge seating. Only one set of keys with no door buzzer system made it difficult to just nip out to visit people or pick up food. Lack of parking on site, nearby streets are permits only, the supermarket has a time limit, and the multi-storey closes at 7pm so you can’t do anything after that as you can’t get your car out. We had to unload/load in a 30min bay and then park streets away and walk several streets to and from the car all week- maybe the landlord could look at securing a parking permit for the next street. The internet was down for the entire week (family of four, no Netflix/Disney+/Amazon/iPlayer/movies, and poor data so we couldn’t tether either…) but we were told this was a provider issue in the entire town, not just the building.

Overpriced, poor facilities and service, would not recommend.

Basically a nice, clean, spacious appartment but lots of unresolved issues.

The area is particularly unpleasant, very noisy at weekends and people were openly taking drugs in the street, very dirty and not safe, especially for children. The appartment does not have enough storage in the bedrooms, only one room had a chest of drawers and one was broken. There were very unsturdy hanging rails in each room with only 3 hangers on each one. The dishwasher was not working and smelt very bad. All these issues were reported on day 1 and nothing was done about them despite several emails. The WiFi was also very poor and only worked in the first 2 days, you could not use it to access Netflix or other internet options on the television and the children could not use their tablets. I would definitely not recommend this place. It was far too expensive given all the issues and the very undesirable location which made us feel quite unsafe at times. The lack of response to the issues we reported was also very poor.

Exceptional

It was spacious, lots of extras in the kitchen, very nicely decorated with super comfy beds. Very handy for Supermarket to buy any supplies we needed.

The WiFi could have been better but it didn’t impact on our break I hadn’t asked about parking, as we were there over Christmas it wasn’t too bad as we were able to park along the street.
