Ogliastra is a region of enchanting beauty, located along the eastern coast of Sardinia. Its territory is home to numerous archaeological sites, pristine beaches, and small, quiet tourist towns.
Finally, the province of Ogliastra is home to numerous archaeological sites (over 200) dating back to the pre-Nuragic and Nuragic periods, such as menhirs (monolithic megaliths), domus de janas (rock-cut tombs), nuraghi (stone towers), giants’ tombs (funerary monuments consisting of collective burials), wells, and springs sacre.Ma. When discussing the province of Ogliastra, one cannot overlook its splendid coastlines, nestled between the sea and the cliffs.
To the north are coves accessible only by sea or on foot, such as Cala Luna, Cala Sisine, Cala Mariolu, and Cala Goloritzé.
