Homey stay in the centre of Bastogne with a lovely host

Our host Isabelle was so lovely! Communicated check in instructions and met us there to show us around the property and made us feel very welcome. Great place that was perfectly located in the centre of Bastogne, easy walk from bus stops, cafes and other attractions. Property had all the things we needed- great shower, kitchennette with fridge, stove, microwave, sink Super comfy bed, new mattress was very comfy and so were the pillows Very clean all around

Stairway could get very dark but there was an automatic light at the top for unlocking doors. Overall really good stay though, we felt really welcome

good location, bad entrance, reasonable facilities, good shower.

the location in the city centre was good. The access to the apartment horrible in a backstreet, like a back entrance to dumpyard. once inside the building it feels like one is in the dungeons, nnot pleasant at all. Access to the apartment on the second floor via 4 very steep narrow stairs, difficult to climb with luggage. Once inside thr apartment there is plenty of space with separate bedroom, bathroom, toilet and living. Access from bedroom to toilet is through a small public hallway, not very pleasant at night as possibly you can run inot the guest of the third floor.

Great location, but pick the 1 bedroom over the studio.

The location was the best part of this place.

I was so called upgraded because an elderly couple had arrived before me. I didn't appreciate it because now I was supposed to walk up to the top level for the bedroom and downstairs for the bathroom and living room. There was no way I was going to risk a fall in the middle of the night when I needed to use the restroom. So, I had to sleep on the uncomfortable couch. Also, I'm very conscious of waking people up under me because it's an old house and the floors squeaked with every step.

A happenstance hotel pick in Bastogne, that turned out to be a dream come true for three nights! The image associated with the hotel is actually a city fountain with statue children climbing the fountain we would soon discover just doors from our hotel. Isabelle the owner, met us two strangers from Ohio, in LIBRAMONT, and drove us the 40-minute ride to Bastogne, to save us the ride in a bus! She is kind, lovely, and beyond generous with her time! We appreciated our private entire second floor suite, with the wall-size window in the kitchenette overlooking the shops and eateries on one of the main streets of Bastogne. We miss Isabelle SO much, and her sister Anne, who is a manager at the Bastogne War Museum, who at closing, drove us the three miles back to our suite! Enjoyed drinks and a chat with Anne's husband Fabiano and son Romeo at NUTS restaurant on the Square. Isabelle was so kind to also drive us to other places, including to the bus stop, where we said our sad "Good-Byes!"

We did NOT like that we had to leave our suite, Isabelle, and the historic city of Belgium! Back in Oberlin, Ohio, we now WhatsApp our new best friend, Isabelle!

It was very central. The host was really nice and so was the daughter

We had to go through a small shop with our bags. Shower door fell off when I tried to close it from inside also the floor was soaking after. One side of the bed felt like I was trying to sleep on a hill!!

A fantastic stay in a town with an amazing history!

The apartment is very spacious, I came on my own but it could have easily accommodated one or two others. The host was lovely, I didn't get her name unfortunately but she was bright, smiley and welcoming all throughout my stay. She was incredibly helpful and attentive.

Good location for a Battle of the Bulge visit.

Very helpful host. Easy access and was given a guided tour of the property when I arrived. Very good bed and bathroom was fine. Kitchen was well equipped so I was able to cook a few meals and the coffee machine was excellent for an early morning drink. Location is central and perfect for bars nearby.

a very convenient and well equipped place for a family stay

This cute little apartment is in a great location in the centre of Bastogne. It is a very clean apartment with a good little kitchen (no oven, but a stove, microwave, fridge with a small freezer and dishwasher). There are very steep stairs to get up to the apartment. The apartment is over two levels, with the living room with kitchen and bathroom on the first level and then the bedroom up one level further. The bedroom is just one room under the roof, with a kind of partition to divide the bunk area from the main bedroom. Overall, this was a very convenient and well equipped place for a stay and it was especially convenient to be able to cook our own dinner.

I personally found the mattress on the double bed to be too hard and the kids said that the bunk bed was like a trampoline, but they seemed to sleep well enough.

The host met me, took me to the property, showed me around and helped me with everything i required. Excellent.

Only slight complaint is bedroom is seperated form rest of flat by a few paces of corridor open to others.

Location is excellent

Location is excellent, The studio it's enough for rest a couple of nights. You have a little fridge, microwave, coffee machine, dish and cutleries and even a small electric cooktop and some small pan and many shops near.The Host it's a charming lady who speaks English also. The instructions was good and fast response for questions, even allow us to check in a little earlier.

you have a bathroom (it's intended just for urinary, the normal bathroom it's downstairs) without door and a regular shower almost in the same space where there is the little dining room/ kitchen, maybe the stairs are a little noisy for someone but it's normal since it's a very old house which it's the average in the town. And for the price and location it's not a deal breaker.

Very friendly landlady, the room is centrally located, in the middle of the city center. all sights can be reached in a few minutes on foot. the bathroom is a highlight - we'll be back :)

Un point de chute au centre de Bastogne

L endroit ,central de Bastogne, tout est à proximité. L équipement complet pour 2 personnes. Tout est sur place. La gentillesse de l hôte, nous avons pu partir plus tard que prévu. Le stationnement gratuit dans les rues adjacentes.

L accès au batiment le soir, assez sombre, se fait par la ruelle arrière. Les escaliers sont assez etroits, ne pas prévoir de grosses valises. Notre 2 ème soirée fut très particulière, notre hôte nous a fait une visite surprise après une soirée bien arrosée...Rien de grave mais puisqu elle habite au dessus cela est important de le signaler.
