Casa Galeria Mantarraya 24

The house was roomy and located in a nice neighborhood/area. The beds were hard, depending on which friend you asked. I think each room had a different type of mattress (firmness), though same brand. HOWEVER: 1. The house was infested with all types of bugs and not cleaned. The bathrooms had bugs, cobwebs, and hair in the shower and on the floor that was definitely not ours. I contacted the host (Erika), but it took her 2 days to find someone to clean the home. Once the home was clean, we felt a little better. One of my friends says there is a whole in his room somewhere, either the wall or window screen because he had a lot bugs still in his room. We noticed there were no door sealants/stoppings at the bottom of the front and kitchen doors, so that would leave room for bugs to enter. There was also this stale odor we smelled every time we would leave and entered the house. 2. There were no wash cloths only dry off towels/big towels. We had to purchase or own wash cloths. The host offered to bring our laundry to the cleaners/washeteria, which was nice. We paid for anything that was not the dry off towels. 3. The wifi was horrible. The modem continued to go out. We examined the modem and determined the power cord was not the same as the modem brand so it was loose and sufficient power could not be maintained to the modem. Even when the power to the modem was sustained, by moving the modem from it's original spot. The wifi was so intermittent we gave up trying. Erika was great and tried her best to correct any issues. She was nice and thanked us for being as patient as we could. These things could be fixed. If then, this would definitely be a 4-5 star home based on location alone. It was close to the beach and some great restaurant gems such as Don Earnesto's, El Nicho, and a lovely pizza and fajita place around the corner which name escapes me at the moment.
