About this house rental
We would love to welcome you to our beautiful lakefront home on a private, no wake, cove! We own and manage this home, and we are always available to help you prepare for your trip, answer your questions, and ensure you have an incredible experience!
Be our guests! Enjoy this new, luxurious, lake house, offering a beautiful view of pristine Lake Keowee from almost every room.
A gorgeous new fire pit was built in August 2024 that comfortably seats 18! And a 4-hole putting green is coming Sept 2024!
This home is impeccably decorated to comfortably host up to 18 people. The open layout and new furniture invites you to relax into the calmness of a lakefront lifestyle.
The kitchen boasts a large island and is fully stocked for entertaining, including a crockpot, air fryer, 2 coffee makers, coffee grinder, electric wine opener, blender, mixer, and plenty of serving bowls and platters.
The dining table extends to seat 14, with additional seating at the outdoor table for 8.
The living room has more than enough seating for a large group to comfortably gather to watch movies (or football games!) on the 65” Samsung TV while overlooking the lake. French doors off the living room open up to the expansive, covered deck with a dining table and couches. This is the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktail, to soak in the peacefulness of the property.
The MAIN LEVEL has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. (Every bed in the home has a top-rated "puffy" brand or "cool gel" brand mattress for an extraordinary night's sleep!)
The first bedroom has a king bed and a lake view with doors that open up to the deck with lounge chairs. This bedroom has a private luxurious bathroom and spacious walk-in closet (which can be a great spot for a pack-n-play for a little one to sleep!)
The second bedroom has a king bed with a lake view and doors that open up to the covered deck with lounge chairs. The third bedroom has a queen bed with a desk that can double as an office, if preferred. These two bedrooms share a large beautiful bathroom.
This level also has a mudroom with an industrial size washer and dryer.
The LOWER LEVEL is another welcoming gathering space with an open floor plan that overlooks the lake. This space has a huge leather sectional, 65” Samsung TV, a wet bar with a beverage fridge.
The lower level provides plenty of entertainment and games, including:
* a shuffleboard table
* a ping pong table
* a putting mat
* board games and toys for littles
* chess and card games for adults
The fourth bedroom on the lower level has a king bed and walk-in closet and a lovely lake view. This bedroom has a large bathroom with 3 sinks that connects you to the fifth bedroom that has 2 full-size beds ( a great family suite!)
The sixth bedroom is the bunk room with 4 twin beds. This room also boasts a wonderful lake view. A bathroom with two sinks accompanies this bedroom.
The bonus room has a 55” Samsung TV, a queen sleeper sofa, 2 loft beds, and a bean bag that opens up into a comfortable queen-sized bed. The bonus room shares the bathroom with the sixth bedroom.
The French doors off the lower level open up to another covered patio overlooking a large flat yard for family football or frisbee. This patio has another outdoor dining table and Adirondack chairs to enjoy the lake view.
The backyard boasts:
* Fire pit for 18
* 4-hole putting green (coming Sept 24)
* grill (both gas and charcoal)
* cornhole
* putterball beer pong
* spikeball
* KanJam
* outdoor shower
A short, lit, pathway leads you to the dock with dual sundecks where you can swim all day or linger in the water under the stars at night.
Our home is on a private channel with no wake and deep water, so it’s ideal for swimming, jumping off the dock, and floating in the water.
We provide you with a kayak, 2 paddleboards, and a huge water mat (where the best memories are made!) We also provide life jackets, towels, floats, and noodles.
If you bring your boat, or rent one from a local marina, our dock can accommodate you.
Our home sits on a quiet, quaint cul-de-sac so children can play freely outside or take advantage of the basketball hoop in the driveway.
It’s also worth noting our home has excellent high speed internet, a rarity on the lake! (Unless you want to unplug! Then just ignore the WiFi password!)
Another wonderful benefit of our location is the 20+ waterfalls, hiking trails, and lakefront playgrounds in the area.
We are 10 minutes to downtown Walhalla, 15 minutes to downtown Seneca, 22 minutes to Clemson, 1 hour to Greenville, 1 hour to Highlands, NC, 2 hours to Atlanta, GA, 5 hours to Nashville, TN, 90 minutes to Asheville, NC, and 5 hours to Hilton Head, SC.

Add our names to the chorus of praises for this wonderful home. I'm not sure we can add anything to what other reviewers have mentioned -- the house is amazing, both inside and out; the lot is outstanding; the location is perfect; the amenities are plentiful & first-rate; and the hosts couldn't be more welcoming and helpful. My wife and I have rented numerous vacation homes and condos over the past 20 years, and my wife says this is her new favorite, narrowly edging out her previous #1 -- something I didn’t think was possible!Typically, my wife and I go on a week-long vacation in July with three generations of family members. But life is unpredictable, and due to circumstances, this year our getaway instead ended up being four nights in September and a much smaller group -- in fact, just the two of us. Yes, it seemed silly to rent such a big house, and I admit to being a bit concerned that it would seem uncomfortable, cold, and somewhat awkward. It was anything but. Surprisingly -- perhaps due to the architecture, floorplan/layout, furniture & furnishings, or all of the above -- somehow the house felt large & spacious, while simultaneously charming & cozy. I'm not sure how that was possible, but we felt just as comfortable as we do in our own home. On further reflection, I think it was mainly because the hosts obviously don't think of people as simply "renters", but rather as their personal guests -- a very welcome bright spot in what has been a difficult year.

This house was perfect for our two large families. The owners are so accommodating and the house has everything you need and much more. We love the layout and all the extras. The location is ideal. We will be back!
