This was a substitute because our original reservation was cancelled an hour before we arrived.

This was a last minute change from the place we actually booked. We got notification about an hour before we arrived from Salt Lake City. This rental was about 1 mile from the rest of our family (a big inconvenience), as we were originally booked in the same complex, and a few doors away. I addition, our granddaughter was frightened by a mouse running through the house. You could hear them in the walls throughout. Getting access was a problem as the code to the door and the lockbox didn't work, so we had to get someone from the rental agency to try a couple of codes, until we were able to get it open.

Made lasting memories at Tahoe. First time there, great to have access to private beach. There are some annoying things

Cabin was very comfortable and clean. Plenty of room for our family. Beautiful private grounds.

Had to drive an hour out of the way for check in. The rules of the community are extremely strict, at check in was told I could receive $2,000-$20,000 fine if rules were broken. Check in staff told me that that the neighbors are all watching to make sure rules are followed, they will call Sheriff about anything. Neighbors gave off a hostile vibe like they do not like renters on vacation. I was constantly on edge worried that kids were being too loud laughing and talking and that neighbors would complain to HOA officers or sheriff. I would have preferred beach umbrellas in the condo. Nights were pretty hot without air conditioning.

Beach was easily accessible.

Someone had a pitbull tied on a long leash which almost attacked us on our way back from beach. The SPA was set on a timer where it turned on at 2am and turned off around noon. They said its not working but thats the reason we booked the cabin so it was false advertising and we should have been notified before the booking.
