Casa Tempo e Amor: A Home for Two Above the Rooftops of Vila do Bispo

Welcome to our beautiful apartment overlooking the rooftops of Vila do Bispo. On a clear day, you can see all the way to Sagres and make out the sea in the distance; on cloudy days, in the fall or winter, you can watch the clouds drift toward the sea. The house is located in the quiet historic center of Vila do Bispo. The narrow, winding cobblestone streets lead to the market square, the church, and delicious restaurants—all within walking distance. There’s hardly any car traffic, and your gaze can wander and get lost in the hills of the nature reserve. The nearest beaches are Praia de Cordoama (about 5 km) and Praia do Castelejo (about 4 km).
Two sun loungers await you on the terrace. A grill and a glass dining table invite you to enjoy the nice weather.
The bedroom features a 160-cm-wide bed with a memory foam, back-friendly mattress, a wonderfully rounded designer dresser, and a clothes rod. Antique, refurbished chairs and an antique stained-glass window, which casts a special light, round out the room.
The living room features a blue velvet sofa, armchairs, and a reading nook, a TV with German satellite channels and Netflix, and high wooden ceilings.
The kitchen has everything your heart desires, including an espresso machine, dishwasher and washing machine, microwave, and—in addition to fine porcelain, crystal glasses, and silver cutlery, rustic Portuguese ceramics—perfect for enjoying Portuguese cuisine, such as fresh grilled fish from the local market hall, at the round glass table.
The bathroom is small but charming. It has natural light and a Victorian-style shower with glass panels. The vanity is an antique sewing table, and the tiles bring a wonderful summery feel to the house.
All objects, artwork, and furniture have been specially selected, created, or repurposed for this house. The renovation and redesign took over a year, and the house is now furnished with stunning designer pieces by Wesko, Bretz, and Ysko, as well as antiques and original creations, such as the suitcase TV or the ceramic umbrella stand with mosaic. Everything exudes a zest for life and invites you to relax and enjoy yourself. The apartment radiates warmth and coziness, while at the same time being full of lightness and color.
