Our stay at Blanco Riverfront Bliss was perfect, plenty of privacy as the only renters on the property. Certainly, a unique location, with easy access to downtown and hill country road scenic drives. We loved the river, great rock islands for sky gazing and playing with the dogs. The house design is so inviting with all the doors and windows, it was more than we needed. The porch was perfect for afternoon and evening sitting. The concrete floors were ideal for dog splooting and cool relief for us as well. Would return.

Our group loved this unique home! The location was perfect as it was close to the square but also had that out of the way feel with the river just outside the back door. we spent the mornings having coffee and breakfast on the deck and played games in the comfortable main room in the evenings. The home is beautifully decorated and has the most comfortable linens.

This house is in a great location, a short distance from downtown and a very quiet area. What we liked: 1) Bathrooms, kitchen, bedrooms and living room very well kept and clean. 2) Loved the polished cement floors. Great if you have a pet or even if you don't 3) TVs all in working order 4) Open concept kitchen/living room. 5) Online pictures of the property inside and out were completely accurate 6) Great property, with a short walk (maybe 100 yards), down to the Blanco river) 7) Very nice (and big outdoor deck) 8) Very nice courtyard on the front. Easy for getting a pet outside . There were no negatives.

We really enjoyed the house and location. The layout was wonderful for two young families and for enjoying the outdoors. We were able to get to town easily and enjoy the River. We had a few cleanliness opportunities and the owner acknowledged working on some plumbing issues left from previous owner. I am confident if they fix these it will be a 5 star property consistently.

This was a fun home to stay in. Located only 5 min. from downtown. The kitchen and living area were like one huge room. Loved the large covered back porch with a view of the Blanco River. We wanted to be on the river and this was not a disappointment. Though it was a small hike (for a river front property) the walk down was gorgeous. The house is beautiful and despite being very open felt very private. We were comfortable in the home and had a short drive into town. But really the river access was the shining point. Perfect to just set up some chairs and soak in the sun. Perfect swimming for the kids too, with different levels of depth to match their comfort.

We stayed here for my husbands birthday with 2 friends and it is a great property! A lot more secluded than I expected and the views were wonderful. The river was low this time of year which was expected, but it would be super fun when it’s fuller. I loved all the windows and views, especially in the morning. Beds were super comfy and showers were great (overhead rain shower heads!) Hayley was super responsive as a host! Would stay again! I only gave cleanliness 4 stars because with all those windows, there were some obvious smudges that probably should’ve been noticed and cleaned - but overall, it was a very clean property!

We've vacationed ~8+ times in Wimberley and this house is by far the best property we've stayed at. The house is clean, modern and there is plenty of indoor and outdoor space. Also, the river access is easy and offers an opportunity to fish, swim or just dangle your feet in the water. Finally, the host, Hayley, was quick to respond to questions and provided clear instructions on how to access the house and property.

We especially enjoyed the stunning deck and pathway to the river. The fireplaces were perfect and close proximity to town was an added bonus. All in all a lovely stay. We had a fantastic experience. The views from the porch alone are worth the stay. The home is beautiful, comfortable and had everything we needed. The access to the river was great. Even though water levels were low this time of year the property has access to the deepest portion of the river so we could swim and use the inflatable paddle board we brought. The sunsents from the river were amazing! Kids and grownups all had a fantastic time. We definitely want to come back!

Lovely, clean, well stocked kitchen/comfy beds. Unfortunately river very low due to drought. but did a little fishing/swimming. Enjoyed beautiful deck watching hummingbirds, deer/squirrels. Beautiful house but Not a fan of back door entry. Difficult on old ppl with bad knees to climb up deck stairs lugging suitcases/food bins etc. Thank you for being pet friendly we did love your house & would recommend it to friends & family.

We enjoyed our time here. We had some initial issues with hot water, but the owner had a plumber out within 24 hours and got things fixed. It was a relaxing stay that was close enough to things and also far enough away that you felt away from it all. We enjoyed the downtown area and explored the river.

This property is stunning. Haley is a wonderful host with excellent proactive communication as well as prompt responses to questions. Below is a long, detailed review for people like me who want to understand every aspect of a rental property before committing. For those that want the summary - the house was PERFECT for our family of four, very well stocked, and truly a 5-star experience. The river access is just a short walk from the house and offers beautiful shallow and deep water to enjoy. Now for the details…SO CLEAN!Like everyone else travelling during COVID, cleanliness is a top priority for my family. This house was spotless, and it was such a relief to walk in and feel clean, safe, and worry free. On top of that, there is a stick vac and ample cleaning supplies should you need to tidy up during your stay.EVERY DETAIL HAS BEEN CONSIDERED!This property has been given a great deal of consideration, is incredibly well stocked, and loaded with amenities. My kids (6 & 10) were thrilled to find a massive television in the living room and THREE fireplaces!! My wife was enamored with the beautiful deck overlooking the river. The kitchen has EVERYTHING you will need. We prepared all our meals in the house (and on the gas grill) and had everything we needed and more. The beds are new and very comfortable with all white linens giving the house a very high end feel relative to many other properties in the area.THE RIVER!!!!The best for last! The Blanco River is amazing, no matter where you land on it, but this section of river is really special. There is a shallow shelf for kids, pets, etc. and a crystal-clear swimming hole, all just a short walk down the path from the house. We spend nearly every daylight hour swimming, fishing, or exploring the river. OTHER NOTESSome of the shallow sections of the river and the boulders can be very slick so river shoes are a plus. My kids thought slipping and sliding around and falling over was a blast but it is something to be mindful of when you're first stepping in. There are two houses on this property so you will see your neighbors and it is across the river from a Rio Bonito which has a few houses for rent. During our stay the people renting the adjacent house were very friendly and the same was true of the families across the river so all was perfect, but if you are anticipating complete isolation, know that you will see a few other faces across the driveway and across the river.
