Every Texas getaway should include amenities to escape the heat, and that's exactly what you'll get at Shepherd's Lodge! Pool, river, shady porches, mature oaks! This gorgeous, recently remodeled 2,300 square foot home comfortably accommodates up to 12 guests with 5 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms.
Situated in the heart of the Wimberley Valley, Shepherd's Lodge is an ideal place for your family getaway. Shepherd's Lodge is a charming, rustic, and thoroughly Hill Country home. Perfect for a large group of family and/or friends, the open layout offers spacious indoor and outdoor living areas. The indoor living area provides ample seating, a fireplace, and a TV as well as deck access. The kitchen includes stainless steel appliances, cooking and dining essentials, and plenty of space for multiple chefs. The dining table seats eight with additional seating at the kitchen bar.
Upstairs you'll find the master suite which includes a king bed, TV and the attached master bathroom with a walk-in shower, double vanity, and spacious walk-in closet. Also located upstairs are the bunk room and the first queen bedroom. These adjoining rooms each have a separate vanity area and share the rest of the full bathroom. Rounding out the second level you find the laundry room with a full-sized washer and dryer. Downstairs the fourth and fifth bedrooms house queen beds and share the downstairs common full bath.
Outside you'll find over 400 sq ft of covered porches and a 500 sq ft shaded deck to enjoy all day long and into those glorious star-studded Hill Country Nights! Relax out on the deck or in the bar/grill pavilion after an afternoon spent playing at the house, down at the river, or about town. Take a dip in the pool, lounge on the tanning shelf, or relax in the the hot tub. Can't resist nature? Walk over to the low river crossing and enjoy a swim in the Blanco River! Be sure to have dinner on the porch under the oaks and string lights - iconic Texas Hill Country!
Bringing the kids? Let 'em run wild! Here you'll find plenty of space, over two acres, for games of chase or catch and the three tree swings are always a hit with the kids. The upstairs bunk room is a perfect place for the kids to bring toys and play. Bring those floaties and water guns and let 'em swim all day and into the night!
