The Shed

This is our 2nd visit to The Shed. It is very clean, modern and comfortable. The kitchen is equipped with everything you would need. There is a washing machine and dishwasher. Tea and coffee are provided as well as washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets etc. The bathroom has a great electric shower over the bath. The towels were fluffy and fresh. The beds were comfortable in both rooms. All rooms were equipped with TVs. There is a small back yard which is accessible from the living room. Scott, the host was very attentive and always at hand to answer any queries.

Great location, lovely and clean and cosy

Scott took us in on short notice when our our first accommodation in Darlington turned out to be abysmal. This was everything it wasn’t, spotlessly clean, modern, well equipped, Egyptian cotton towels, comfortable beds, good internet and only a 15 minute walk to the centre of town. The first location we’d been in on Primrose Street felt run down and there had been a screaming match outside our flimsy front door. This area felt much safer and quieter. There were a couple of questions we had and Scott responded quickly and helpfully. Also there is underfloor heading so the house was always cozy and comfortable. From my experience quality accommodation in Darlington is hard to get so this was a lucky find.

I like a very dark room but it being summer the sun would bleed through the blinds in the morning, saying this I could have packed an eye mask and maybe you should too if this bothers you.

Nicely laid out. Everything was there that you could need. Had difficulty with the cooker rings courtyard was lovely. Would recommend

Cooker rings were difficult to operate comfortable and enjoyable place to relax. Close to shops and relaxing
