Ideal Family Stay – Spacious, Comfortable, and Well-Located

We had a fantastic stay at this Southsea apartment! The location is perfect – just a short walk to the pier with exceptional views over the seafront. The apartment itself was incredibly spacious, comfortable, and far exceeded our expectations – the photos really don’t do it justice. We were so impressed with both the accommodation and the facilities. Normally, we book a hotel, but since we were travelling with our daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughter, we opted for self-catering – and we’re so glad we did! It was absolutely the right choice and has definitely made us think twice about choosing hotels in the future. Thank you for a great stay – we’d love to come back soon!

There was nothing we didn't like but in terms of constructive feedback, it would be good if there was a lock on the main bathroom door and as a tip for other guests, bring hand towels as only bath towels are provided.

Nice apartment in good location but not good communication

Nice location, well furnished and spacious.

Contact number for host didn't work. Had problems trying to work out heating system and no way of contacting host. So we were cold a lot of the time. Somehow figured it out in the end but could have done with some help. No response to questions on booking.com messaging. Not convenient having to pick up keys from different location which I didn't find out till I gad booked. Parking not easy, meters don't take cards and there is a shortage of spaces.

Great apartment, perfect location and host.

The location was even better than we thought when we booked. Being so close to the beach, a local shop and nearby restaurants was awesome! The apartment was very nice, the balconies were perfect and the whole experience was truely exceptional. Visiting my home town as a tourist for the first time was made even more special with this apartment. Nick is a great host and very responsive.

The ONLY challenge was parking. There are plenty of spaces to park and pay but could have been better with working permit, although this is a VERY SMALL point in an otherwise perfect stay.

The accommodation was perfect and clean. It had all the amenities to have a fantastic stay. The rooms were spacious and clean. Well kempt apartment. Defiantly stay again and would highly recommend this to anyone. Extremely happy and had a wonderful break with my family whom also enjoyed the apartment. Fantastic stay.

Superb

A lovely apartment with a really good sea view. Ideal for 4 people (or 4 plus a baby/infant). The information provided beforehand by the owner Nick was really helpful and he kindly provided us with 3 or 4 day permits so that we didn’t have to pay a car parking charge. The visitors guide in the apartment was helpful too and the complementary bottle of Malbec and snacks a nice touch. The apartment was very clean; an important consideration during a global pandemic. The 3 bedrooms (one en suite) were more spacious than appears from the photographs. The lounge & kitchen area was very pleasant, helped by that sea view. All in all a lovely place to stay. Our grandchildren (ages 11 and 13) are keen to return post COVID as there are a lot of activities for kids of all ages in both walking distance of, and via a short drive, from the apartment. Would highly recommend.
