A comfortable and quiet

The gites was very homey and comfortable. The beds were amazingly comfortable and we slept well. We really just needed a place to sleep but it had all the amenities and we could definitely have stayed longer The terrace was also lovely and the property is quiet and private.

Parking and unloading was a bit tricky as the road out front was narrow. It is definitely a hike up to the apartment so make sure you are able to do that.

Lovely and tranquil

Ideal apartment for our family of three and our dog. Very pleasant aspect, being at the top of a house on a hill (note a good few steps to the apartment) ovrrlooking central Tours. Very bright and tranquil. The hosts were very pleasant and swift to respond to any comments. Very good value and easy access from the quaint, characteristic, if narrow, street for touring the chateaux of the area. Lovely park a mere 3 minutes walk away. We were also pleasantly surprised to find parking near by each day.

There was little to dislike, though the steps to the apartment were tricky with large luggage. Although plenty of amenities are within 10 minutes drive, there were few within walking distance.

Had to take a lot of stairs to get into. The apartment was initially very cold. The location without a car is very inconvenient. Also there is no assigned paroling space

A night stay in Tours at the top of the town.

Stunning looking location with a wonderful post office/cafe 5 minutes down the road. Rooms spacious with incredible views due to being so high up

70 flights if stairs to climb up (not suitable for disability or any infirmity). No toilet paper at the site (in fact, nothing bar some soap). A small basket of essential items would have been welcome after climbing up 70 flights of stairs.

Position with easy access out of town

Very limited parking options and 90 steps to enter the flat, this should be clearer in the presentation of the location, since 90 steps with luggage is not simple for who is not young anymore.

it was dirty and smelling. the bedding was not clean hairs in. we had dogs with us and they accused us that they peed in the bed. which is totally not true. they want an extra 60 euros

Good spacious apartment. Brilliant view, everything you need in apartment. Heating good once worked out. Very clean.

The steps (85) Not as close to city centre as thought. Parking was difficult. Dvd player would be good for non French people.

La vue sur l'autoroute. Le manque de place dans la rue, ce qui vous oblige à vous garer très loin... Sans oublier une bonne cinquantaine de marches pour arriver à la location!

logement très bien, propre, il y a tout ce qu'il faut superbe vue après avoir grimpé les 80 marches, mais ça en vaut la peine les transports en commun sont proches on a eu la chance de voir 2 écureuils jouer dans le jardin, un super moment

Nuitée en famille au calme

Gîte au calme avec terrasse et une belle vue sur la ville. Très propre

J’aurais aimé savoir avant de réserver qu’il y a 90 marches extérieures à monter (equivalent 4 étages). Le message mentionné l’escalier mais ne parle que de 50 marches. L’escalier métallique est dangereux car distingue mal les marches en descendant : il faudrait que le nez soit d’une couleur différente. Paroi de douche mal adaptée. Débit d’eau faible (impossible de prendre une douche si la chasse se remplit ou si quelqu’un fait la vaisselle). Pas de couette pour le canapé lit du salon. Peu de places de stationnement près du gîte : nous avons eu de la chance d’en avoir à côté mais sinon c’est vite loin.

L'escalier qui mène à l'appartement. Mon compagnon a 72 ans.. il est capable de monter un escalier, mais l’équivalent de 3 étages, c'est un peu beaucoup. ce n'était pas précisé.

Il faut être en bonne santé pour séjourner dans ce gîte

Le calme

L’accès difficile, beaucoup d’escalier trois étages à monter (le logement ne convient pas à une personne avec un trouble de la marche) d’éclairage la nuit pour accéder au gîte. En plus les informations de commerces de proximité n’était pas à jour. (boulangerie la plus proche fermée depuis un an)

Excellent séjour, correspondant complètement aux photos et à ce que j'attendais

Ce que j'ai aimé est la vue sur la cathédrale de Tours, la situation géographique à proximité de tout et notamment de balades possible le long de la Loire, dans une bâtisse typiquement tourangelle. L'appartement était très propre et fonctionnel.

La montée est sportive avec de nombreuses marches pour accéder au logement, ce qui permet aussi d'accéder à la vue !

Forse un po’ calda, ci voleva un ventilatore in più. Per arrivare all’appartamento ci sono circa 90 scalini… dovrebbero mettere più in evidenza questo fatto, per alcune categorie di persone, per esempio anziani, potrebbe essere un problema
