Quinta do Outono

We had a wonderful stay at Quinta do Outono. We stayed in a two-bedroom house with its own private area and swimming pool. It truly felt like having our own home, as there were no other guests around, which made the experience very peaceful and relaxing. The breakfasts were delicious, and we also had a very special dinner experience. José and Anabella prepared homemade dinners for us, and every meal was cooked with great care and attention. Our daughter is a picky eater, and Anabella went out of her way to prepare dishes she knew our daughter would enjoy. We also enjoyed their own homemade wine, which made the evening feel even more authentic and memorable.

Very welcoming and a fantastic stay. Spacious, clean room with a spacious bathroom. Well-functioning air conditioning. Excellent beds. Each room has its own 'little front garden' with two lovely chairs where it is pleasant to relax. You can also sit by the very spacious swimming pool, where you can enjoy the sun until early evening. Jorge and his wife are fantastic hosts. Jorge is always there for you, also with good tips and advice regarding trips and restaurants, etc. The Quinta is beautifully centrally located for visits to wineries, Pinhao, etc. You can also stay for dinner (for a very reasonable fee), where you can enjoy authentic Portuguese food and top-quality Port made at the Quinta (unfortunately not for sale). We stayed for several days and enjoyed it. If we return to the Douro Valley, we will certainly stay here.

It’s a gem in the Douro! We stayed in the private house and loved every second of it. The property was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The host was wonderful, and we really enjoyed the dinners and breakfasts

The hosts were amazing, very helpful and nice. We had a great time in the property. We walked through the vineyards and it's amazing. The dinner was delicious, I definitely recommend. Their dogs are super sweet.
