Lovely house on beautiful...

Lovely house on beautiful historic grounds. Very friendly and welcoming owners. The house is decorated with care and taste which made us feel at home rather than in a rented place. It is ideal both for a big company as there is a lot of space for accommodation and for a family vacation with kids, as we did, as there is a lot of opportunities for running, playing etc. Very peaceful, quite and relaxing environment. All major attractions and vineyards are in the driving distance from 5 to 60 km, therefore car is highly recommended. All bedrooms have individual heating, which we found very comforting. We will happily come back to this lovely place one day.

De 10 à 90 ans tous les membres de la famille rassemblés pour le week-end de Pâques y ont trouvé leur compte. Accueil très chaleureux et arrangeant de nos hôtes (avec petite visite historique du site).

Accueil très chaleureux : feu de cheminée -- plus qu'agréable en ce début de mai frisquet -- et grands sourires. Le lieu est dans un écrin de verdure. Nous avons passé un fort agréable weekend au relais de chasse (avec une visite des lieux !) : tout est fait pour qu'on s'y sente bien !

Le domaine du prieuré de Relay est un lieu splendide, calme, et au passé tourmenté, préservé et rénové avec passion par ses propriétaires. Madame du Mesnil nous a même fait le plaisir de nous faire une visite passionnante des lieux, après nous avoir accueilli chaleureusement. Les gîtes - nous avons loué le Relais de Chasse - sont grands et spacieux ce qui permet à chacun d'être bien chez soi, même en profitant du jardin, et même avec 6 enfants agités...! Le vaste séjour était bien adapté pour notre groupe d'amis avec enfants, et le grand feu de cheminée a été un grand plaisir. Les chambres sont confortables et les salles de bain nombreuses, très récentes et bien équipées. Nous conseillons vivement ce havre de paix, à l'orée des bois, très biee placé pour visiter la Touraine, qui réjouira les amoureux de vieilles pierres, comme les groupes d'amis ou familles voulant passer un bon moment ensemble tout en s'assurant un très bon niveau de confort.

Nous avons passé un escellent week end en famille dans un domaine magnifique. Le relais de chasse est fait pour que chacun puisse y avoir son intimité tout en se retrouvant dans une très grande salle à manger. Bref, un endroit idéal pour se reposer ou explorer des sentiers VTT..... Nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir.

"Excellent séjour à 2 familles avec enfants. Seul bémol, la cuisine mériterait d''être mieux équipée. Il manquait quelques ustensiles (type mixer, batteur). Cheminée très agréable mais manquait un soufflet. Sinon maison idéalement située pour être au calme dans un très joli cadre tout en étant très proche des sites de visite! Nous reviendrons aux beaux jours!"

"Jolie maison dans l'ensemble, mais rénovation rustique au niveau des menuiseries, en hiver on sent bien l'air frais passer donc pas très agréable. Il manque quelques casseroles et autres en cuisine, et nous avons eu un gros problème d'eau chaude, nous étions 10 adultes et 9 enfants en bas âge, ça fait du monde, mais il y a quand même un problème à ce niveau là. Sinon région très sympa, plein de chose à faire à proximité."
