Brilliant for transit stop with excellent restaurant

Large, modern, excellent cleanliness. New Aircon units and large balcony. Biggest treat was the food in the restaurant on the evening, Top quality, obviously prepared with care and love. Price was very good value. Breakfast was ample with lots of variety on the plate. All staff friendly and attentive.

Good for transit stop, not much to do or see in the small town where located, so if staying longer you would need to be prepared to travel out and about. To make the room facilities perfect, it needs tea/coffee making facilities and a mini fridge.

The pillows were high for us, so a flat pillow as an option would have been good.But this is very minor.

Everything perfect

The room was very cosy and spacious. Everything is newly renovated an clean. The bathroom is nice and has everything you need. At night it was very quiet. The owner was very friendly and since we came by bike allowed us to lock it in in an extra room. The pizza and the breakfast were also delicious. I would definitely stay there again.

A friendly place in a charming town!

I had the pleasure of staying two nights at Hotel Riviera on my way to Puglia and back. It is a very pleasant place, located in the heart of a charming town. The owners and all employees of the hotel deserve praise because they create a family atmosphere and are very kind and friendly. In addition, the hotel's restaurant serves delicious local food at a reasonable price.

Clean and uncomplicated

Appreciated the cleanliness of the hotel and the uncomplicated stay. Arrived outside the usual reception hours, but after making a short phone call somebody immediately came and we checked in. The service was very friendly, breakfast (served) was generous and delicious. There is enough room for parking at/next to the hotel, and Udine (center) is just 20-25min away.

The guests next door just didn't seem to realise that noise is not a positive experience for everyone. If you need peace and quiet, maybe choose a place with better insulation. This is, however, not really a problem regarding the hotel but rather a problem regarding manners. I still wouldn't hesitate to book a room again.

Visiting the Julian Alps

Beautiful place. Very friendly and family atmosphere in the hotel. You feel as if you came to close family is not like a hotel. Service very helpful. The food is delicious. Room very clean and spacious.

I can only recommend this hotel. Sometimes, it´s perfect idea to stay in a small hotel with perfect staff and super food. There was some traditional event but they did the best! So many people came to the hotel but they tried to provide best service for them, and for us, too. Breakfast was also good. We stayed there only for 1 night but it was nice experience. Thank you so much. You do your job perfect!

We felt warmly welcomed by a friendly staff and definitely recommend this place!

We enjoyed generous and tasty breakfast as well as the dinner for very fairly costs. If you travel from Italy northwards (or from Austria to the South) and need to settle for a night, you will definitely appreciate the convenient location no too far from the Austrian border and the highway. However the small village is quiet and surrounded by lovely hills. The room is equipped with a small fridge, AC, toiletries incl. hair dryer and large comfortable beds! We did not miss anything and if traveling this direction again we know, where to stay for a break :)

The hotel was the first one we stayed at during our summer trip through Italy. After a long journey from Germany we got a warm welcome and had a wonderful dinner. Especially the pizza we can recommend, many locals come to collect it for take-away. At the next morning breakfast was served at the table and contained croissants, home made bread, a plate of italian specialities, eggs and fruits. Combined with cappuccino a perfect start in the day to discover the surrounding area. We only had two nights but it would be worth staying longer. Rooms have enough space. Safe parking.

Our stay was perfect, we hope to come again when we go to Italy next time.

Stop looking and just book it!

Look no further. This family run hotel is exceptional and extremely good value. Good sized rooms with very comfortable beds and pillows. Spotlessly cleaned daily. Sheets changed after 3 nights. Extensive and sumptuous breakfast included with bread baked in house daily (see photo). Free parking and, despite what it says on Booking.com atm, free wifi throughout. Evening restaurant also excellent and great value.

We have been travelling to Italy for years, but it was 1st time we have been hosted in such a friendly atmosphere. The hotel staff was extraordinary kind, helpful and very, very nice. The breakfast was a king one- the dishes- variety of choice and the attitute of the hotel staff was just stunning. Even bread was freshly baked. Ot was the best breakfast we have had ever!!!!! The dinner was also perfect. It's a perfect stop when travelling to Italy

Fantastic Italian dinner (Pizza was just great, super Antipasti), great breakfast, clean room and very friendly personal. Were even offered to park our motorcycles in the back of the hotel for them to be safe
