Would not trust this host

We booked two nights, one with booking.com and another night with the host herself. Because we had paid twice the cleaning fee, the host told us that she would put us in one apartment the two nights and refund us one cleaning if we booked the second night. She put us in one apartment but never refunded one of the two times we paid cleaning fees as she said she would despite me writing her a few times. This is not correct. My texts after we left claiming the refund were not answered.

A stunning setting.

A sensational place to stay in a sensational village.

There was nothing we didn’t like about the property, the only downside with the timing of our visit was that we had to travel out for a meal as everything was closed in the village.

Such a lovely little town. Accommodation right in the centre. Very peaceful.

Bathroom small, but fine for a few days. Restaurants only seemed to be open during the day. But the bistro just on the edge of town was open and has a beautiful view.

Everything you want in the French countryside!

We stayed for one night on our way from the Marseille to Paris. This place is everything you are hoping for in the French countryside! We loved the vibe, the decor, the space; everything. And the town looks to be out of a fairytale. We loved every bit of our very short stay and we would definitely stay again the next time we are passing through.

In the very center of a delightful medieval village Lovely clean room Very nice staff Great breakfast

Nothing to stop the light coming in in the morning ( we had the room on the front of the propert) Only a very light pillow per person - really need to leave spare ones in the cupboard No air conditioning means leaving windows open at night in summer but main road and breakfast area just under those windows at the front of the property can be disruptive for those who are late sleepers

Central location in beautiful, delightful village. Dog friendly. Public parking 100m away. Lovely light, spacious apartment, quite well equipped. Comfy bed, well appointed kitchen and nice shower. Will definitely return to explore beautiful countryside. Good restaurant nearby.

Set in a magical location, with everything a traveller possibly need and more. We had the most enjoyable and peaceful stopover. Caty was super helpful and the apartment was spotlessly clean. Highly recommended.

Great location. Friendly helpfull people. Our room had bathroom and toilet. Also had kitchenette, fully equipped.

Lovely place, just some minor things to consider: Smokey smell in the room (front of building). No instruction on checkout, owners weren't around when we left at 10.45. No breakfast in the village when we were there, but room included kitchenette, so we could easily make our own.

Great Stopover

We chose to stop here on our way from Nice to Paris. We arrived late and they had dinner and a bottle of wine waiting for us. Seriously quiet picturesque village. Located very close to the candy factory. The people were very nice.

Séjoure très satisfaisant.

Un cadre idéal pour se ressourcer, une cuisine ultra-équipée pour cuisiner avec plaisir, un poêle et une déco chaleureuse qui invitent à la détente.

Quelques écarts avec l’annonce. La TV à écran plat promise sur Booking était absente, ce qui a été une surprise pour les enfants. Le Wi-Fi ne couvrait pas toutes les pièces, ce qui a limité son utilisation. Dommage, car le reste du séjour était agréable.

Un excellent séjour à la Maison George!

C’est un gite en complete autonomie, boîte à clés à l’arrivée. Pour autant, la déco chaleureuse et le soin apporté à tous les détails rendent l’expérience très plaisante. Le village est magnifique, les rues et ruelles invitent à la promenade - je recommande le salon de thé de la Maison du Tisserand - et on revient toujours à la Maison George… Il y a bien sûr l’Abbaye et la fabrique d’anis, toute proche. Très peu de voitures dans le village, avec un stationnement sur le parking à l’exterieur - des nuits calmes et sans bruits, et un trio de poules sur la place au petit matin…

Tout était parfait! J’ai hâte de revenir.

Das ist eine sehr schöne Unterkunft in einem zauberhaften Ort. Da muss man unbedingt mehre Tage bleiben. Auch wenn man, so wie wir, als Pilger hier vorbei kommt.
