Lovely setting and nice pool, access was easy with all the codes and there were good self catering facilities to use. Bathroom was huge and room was private/ not overlooked.
Bed was squeaky and there was only one pillow. Given I was a solo traveller only one bed was made up. One towel and a bath mat were provided but a hand towel would have been nice. I know it was a heatwave but the room was very hot..my thermometer read 32..though there was a small fan to use which provided a bit of relief. The shower didn't drain very quickly

Bedroom can get very hot and stuffy...a fan would have been helpful.

It was very historic and I’m glad we stayed there. The pool and the view were wonderful. The kitchen was well equipped, we were able to cook a nice breakfast.
I have 2 suggestions. A hand towel for each room would be appreciated. Some sugar for the kitchen would be nice.
My complaint was that the seat to the toilet was loose. My wife almost slid off. It was actually dangerous, but an easy thing to fix.

The complex is a beautiful walled area with a number of accommodation options, a garden, a pool and fabelous areas to sit and read or just soak up the atmosphere
our room , I think wasnt the norm as the floor area just in front of the bathroom was broken . Also there was zero contact with the host so didnt feel very welcoming. there were mixed messages on how to access the accommodation also
