The Wonky House

It's a beautiful, serene property 😌 the owner was very patient directing us to the property, gave us info on activities around. We drove just 30min to Ngare Ndare forest. When we arrived we were met by the two lovely dogs completely stole our hearts. The staff was so helpful she got us milk, hot water bottles so we can get in a warm bed. The village around is so serene with the view of Mount Kenya, definitely looking forward to visiting again.

I liked everything!

Location. Accessing the place was a little chaotic on the first day. Otherwise, I'm sure it's gonna be great coz the road is being tarmacked.

This was one of the best Airbnb experiences we had. It's a very nice and clean property. Very well-equipped kitchen with all the amenities around. The view of Mount Kenya made it even more special. The property has 2 very well-behaved pet dogs and our family had a great time with them. The entry from the Timau Mall is a little tricky but the host had guided with the local map in prior. The road is rough for around 9 km until the main location. Gives you a little adventure :) Loved the stay and will recommend this property!

1. The pans in the kitchen are a little light weight and food can get burnt easily. But it was still doable. 2. The way from Timau mall to the location was really rough.

Everything. The house is well done, interiors are good, kitchen is well stocked and all supplies available. The manager was helpful and very welcoming. The view of Mt Kenya is breath taking. The night bonfire was good.

The mattress is hard. Maybe change that.
