The remaining 2 large bedrooms provide you with a glimpse of the Intracoastal Waterway to the East & make this 5th floor condo stand & far above expectations. Upon entry you will feel the paradise engulf you with relaxation and joy.
The Master suite features a King size bed & private bathroom fit for the most discriminating guests with a spacious updated shower and granite counter tops. Over 100 merchants populate the Village offering unique retail shopping experiences, multiple places to eat, rent wave runners, book a fishing trip or floating tiki bar and more. History reflects that the Pass was created by a hurricane way back in 1848. On September 27, 1848, a retired pirate, John Levique, now calling this area home made the first passage through the newly created pass. Hence the name, Johns Pass. SEA TURTLES ~
You may see areas marked off with stakes & orange netting that are sea turtle nests that have been identified and contained so they are not disturbed to give the eggs time to hatch. The majority of nesting in Florida occurs between May 1st and October 31st. About 90% of all sea turtle nesting in the United States takes place on Florida's beaches, which means it is critical that residents and visitors alike do their part to ensure that sea turtles have a safe and successful nesting season. If you are staying at the condos along the beaches, please keep your porch lights off during this time of year so as not to confuse the hatching turtles; they head towards the moonlight to find the Gulf of Mexico waters and start their life. It is also important at the end of your beach day that you flatten any sand castles you’ve made or holes dug as they interfere with the turtles track to the water.
MANATEES ~ Sometimes you will see these gentle giants swimming along just off shore. Keep your eyes open "circle" footprints they leave when surfacing for air.
DOLPHINS ~ You'll often see these beautiful creatures playing or feeding not far from shore.
SEA OATS ~ While walking along our beaches some areas boast Sand Dunes & Sea Oats which are not for playing on. The Sea Oats are protected and combined with the dunes help to protect our beautiful beaches from erosion. They are also nesting places for many of our shore birds.
Speaking of birds, Indian Shores is the home of the Seaside Seabird Sanctuary that helps to rescue, rehabilitate injured birds & educate the public. A little south of Park Boulevard Bridge is the 1.5-acre wild bird rehabilitation center with over 100 birds on display including Pelicans, Owls, Hawks, Vultures, song birds, Shore birds, and parrots. Other features include gift shop, education center, observation tower overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, daily pelican hand-feeding, weekly screech owl demonstration, monthly yoga class on the beach, and much more. Located on Gulf Blvd. in front of mile marker #13.

Wow!! Words cannot express how wonderful our stay was for our entire family. The condo was spacious, welcoming, and inviting. The beds were comfortable and bedrooms were spacious. The balcony offered a breath taking view of the ocean and sunsets every night. There were plenty of household necessities available and the washer/dryer is always handy. There were chairs, cooler, and towels available. Thank you for the wonderful memories!

Overall experience was great! The kitchen had more cooking supplies than I've ever had in a condo! It made eating in easy! The condo was nice and clean. The beach chairs and towels were great! Easiest checkin/out process I've ever had. I really appreciate it since we tend to fly out really early. Beth is very responsive and helpful! Thank you so much!!

Condo building is directly on the beach. Unit is on the fifth floor. One odd thing, the unit is actually overlooking the pool for the building next door (Sand Castle 1). The people in and around this pool were a much rowdier crowd.
Great communication before, during and after our stay.
The living room sofa and loveseat were updated prior to our arrival and looked nice and were very comfortable.
This is an older complex, so the bathrooms are small ... the vanities in both the master and hall bath were single bowl with not much counter space. This is as advertised in the photo's.
The flooring is updated and nice. The kitchen counter is updated with granite. The cookware was adequate for our purposes. We did grill on the community grills ... unfortunately there were no grill tools ... we made it work.
The cleanliness of the condo was my biggest concern. Upon entering the unit, it did smell musty. This is not uncommon for accommodations in Florida. But not typically found in higher end properties. The washcloths, some towels and the kitchen washcloth and towels all smelled horribly. I bought Tide pods and Lysol Laundry Sanitzer and washed everything before I used.
The floors were not clean as we found out after being barefoot the first day and our feet were black before we even got out of the unit.
We had a 10 AM checkout. My husband started taking bags to the car around 9:30 AM. The cleaning crew asked to come to the unit immediately so they could get started. We indicated we had a 10 AM checkout and the other couple was still getting packed up. After my husband made a second trip to the car (which was not the final trip), they came up and into the unit before we were even out. I told them about the floors needing a good mopping.
We finally got out of the unit about 9:55 AM. We had washed and dried all the beach towels. We had washed and dried all the dishes. The bed linens and washcloths and towels were all that needed cleaning. We were ready to pull out of the lot when we remembered to take the parking pass back to the unit. When my husband got back up to the unit, something was already in the dryer. They hadn't had time to even run a load through the washer. What could they be drying? ... And so we left wondering if that's why the washcloths and towels smelled so bad when we arrived.
Overall, the condo isn't bad ... but for the price we paid, we expected better.
