We had an amazing stay at the hotel. The staff was lovely and eager to help with any question or issue we had. The rooms at the hotel are spacious and luxurious. You can tell there’s attention to the small details, and the hotel’s design is stunning, all in a boho style that doesn’t feel overdone, both in the rooms and in the other spaces like the dining room and the lobby.
The hotel’s beach is also open to people who aren’t guests and pay for entry, but that didn’t bother us. The beach has a variety of lounge beds and plenty of seating options, with music playing all the time and a fun atmosphere. The beach restaurant offers a variety of food and drinks
The hotel’s breakfasts are relatively small compared to typical hotel breakfasts. If there had been a buffet, even a limited one, I think our experience would have been truly perfect.

Just the perfect place for a beach vacation. Every little detail seems to be thought of. Calming design, great staff, beautiful beach, delicious food. We super recommend and would love to come back!!
It’s 30 mins walk from the nearest village, and there are not always taxis. Still perfect but could’ve been good to have a a shuttle from the hotel twice a day

Absolutely fascinating! Stayed at the hotel for 5 days and I would definitely recommend it. The rooms were properly cleaned and well equipped with everything needed. Everyone from the team were very friendly and attentive. The beach was clean and the sea water was crystal clear. The food at the restaurant was very tasty and the restaurant manager was just excellent. We enjoyed our stay a lot and will be going again!

The resort is beautiful and cosy. Welcoming and friendly reception staff.
The service in the restaurant and on the beach could improve a lot. Often when we’ve ordered they forgot a dish or a drink. gin&tonic- worst I ever had.
The food menu could be more varied ….

The staff were all very welcoming and went out of their way to arrange a hire car for us that was brought to the hotel. They were also able to provide tennis equipment for the on-site court and arrange other outings/taxis too.
The bar was well stocked with alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks and the food menu was equally varied and delicious. Waiting staff were pretty attentive.
Our room was spacious , cool and clean with air conditioning and separate fan. We opted for a private pool room- not particularly big or deep, but enough to take a dip and cool off, and the seatingand sunbed on the terrace was nice. The room had a decent size, kettle, Nespresso, fridge and some cutlery and crockery too so we brought some basic breakfast things and drinks. The kitchen sink was a bit quirky - didn't drain well and set in a corner so if you don't have height or long arms it can be tricky to reach th tap! It was flat bottomed (poor drainage and made of stone, and would have driven me nuts in a kitchen at home but fine for a week.
Best shower I think I've ever enjoyed. Lovely water pressure and lots of hot water and cold.
Sufficient storage to unpack for the two of us for a week
The room: The bed was comfy but the pillows were very odd- quite hard and heavy.
Atmosphere: couldn't fault the staff, but at times I did feel it would have been nice to be able to listen to music if my choice, or I deed the gently lapping waves, but sadly that wasn't an option with music from multiple speakers around all the sea front sitting areas from morning until 11pm-no escape.
Location: It's on us for not doing more research but at 28° 1.5km each way was a bit of a stretch to walk into town in a whim, so unless you have car hire it's a bit limiting.
Natural features: The sea is fantastically close to the bar and they have thoughtfully laid out two paths of sandbags to get you across the worst of the pebbles, but it's not a sandy beach and it was not pleasant for sunset strolls because of the pebbles and the camber.

Large rooms and large balcony is a huge plus, especially with a baby. AC and Fan system was very good. Comfortable stay. Baby cot was clean and comfortable. Wonderful staff especially reception was very helpful, positive and friendly. Beach was nice, pool was nice
Breakfast was too simple, basically only omelette. Only 1 water and coffee in the room during stay was not enough. There are no shops nearby, car needed.

Great location, very peaceful, very spacious and comfortable suits. The staff from the reception to the restaurant, the beach is very very friendly and well educated. Great beach bar and restaurant - I would highly recommend the restaurant even to non-guests.
Everything was great :)

The hotel is fantastic, the location and staff were exceptional. The interior and exterior are superb. If you would like a Bali or Tulum style resort in Greece, this is your spot. The beach is great, there are shallow parts and the sea was very warm. The beach restaurant had incredibly talented chef and the servers Avram, Kosta and Petros were very attentive. The rooms were modern, spacious and clean with a beautiful sea view. The managers welcomed us and made sure all of our requests were accommodated. Mako sea & suites is a boutique hotel that will make your dreams come true!
Nothing. Everything was amazing.

Beautiful place, great aesthetic, nice menus
I have never had a more disorganised accommodation experience , not even in hostels charging 20euros per night and this was a 4 star hotel charging 180euro
None of the stuff from receptionist to service staff did not know how to do their job or what was going on in the hotel
As soon I arrived they took me to the wrong room, outside the hotel facilities, did not help me with any of my bags and had me walk up and down with 3 bags
As soon as we got to the reception i asked for a room upgrade - 30 min wait to figure out what is going on, one receptionist told me yes and the other one told me there is nothing available
When they managed to figure out what is going on they took me to my room only to find out someones stuff in the room and to let me know that the phone room was not connected so if i wanted to order something i had to go down 3 floors to get to the reception
I went to pay 3 times at the reception for room service i ordered and 2/3 times their POS wasn't ready(?) and the last time they charged me the wrong amount ( any time i asked for anything at the reception was at least a 15 min wait)
Breakfast took 30-40 minutes to serve and was extra charged 18 euros (?) for coffee, juice, one main dish and one side. If you wanted something extra they charged it
Everyone was very kind, pleasant and eager to help but absolutely did not have any clue on how to do so . And the thing is it was a three day holiday for Greece so they expected crowd and the hotel did not have more than 12 rooms total , i mean ...come on.. i spoke with two other couples all complaining about the same things

Mako Suites is a beautiful hotel situated right on the seafront, the rooms are gorgeous and the views are stunning. The Staff are so friendly and attentive and we didn’t want for anything while we were there.
The area surrounding the hotel is very run down, there is a very strange abandoned camp next door and the roads leading to the hotel are full of pot holes and not well lit. This is in contrast to the luxury of the hotel itself.
The hotel needs a gym. Admittedly this is personal preference but with fitness being so important to people these days I would expect a hotel life this to have some more adequate fitness facilities although we did have fun playing tennis a couple of times.

We loved everything about this place..If you love Bali and bohemian interior you will love this place! A little Bali in Greece🇬🇷
The staff were so kind and nice!
We had the chance to get welcomed by Marina, the girl who waited for our arrival.
The manager of the hotel, Elina is a real sweetheart, always with a smile and kind words! We felt so welcomed!!
The food was terrific! We were also satisfied with the parking!!
One of the best hotels so far 🇬🇷
Thanx for everything guys!

Despite only having a couple days of sun which was a shame, we thoroughly enjoyed our time, the hotel and location itself is stunning! We were welcomed with a lovely bottle of wine and fruit platter to say "Happy Anniversary" which was a sweet touch. The staff are so friendly and attentive to all your needs and requirements, especially Elena and Marina they go the extra mile to ensure you're comfortable and have everything you need. The cocktails are heavenly, and food is exceptional. We only ate in the restaurant for dinner once, which was a little bit of a wait for the food but it was worth it! Breakfast was a real treat, highly recommend the pancakes and avocado toast.
(WARNING FOR COUPLES) Personally I think this hotel would be better if it was adults only, they pride themselves on being a "secret escape" and "relaxing" which is sadly taken away from the children screaming, having tantrums etc. We had an incident where we were sunbathing and had pebbles thrown at us numerous times, and the parent didn't intervene, which was rather frustrating. It's also difficult to enjoy the pool, and have a relaxing swim when there's lots of children splashing around and diving in/out the pool.
The nearest town Pefkochori we was told was a 10min walk, when in fact it's more of a 15/20 minute walk so I would suggest hiring a car/quad bike during your stay as it's not the easiest walk due to no pavements and lots of cars coming from both directions. Or just get a taxi which is €5.
Although the rooms are lovely and spacious, the bed itself on top of the mattress you're actually sleeping on two single foam toppers pushed together, which means you end up slipping down the middle which is a little annoying. I would expect better, especially for the price you pay.

We were looking for a nice , quiet hotel away from the August crowds and we couldn't have made a better choice with the MAKO hotel. Set up in front of the sea with a beautifully designed pool , restaurant and surrounding areas it was the perfect place to chill out for a couple of nights. The hotel is new - only 2nd year running - the staff is very hospitable, friendly and very professional. A big thank thank you to everyone working there and specially to Vasilis at the reception
- Breakfast: For me and my family it was adequate, tasty and nicely presented, but you may be disappointed if you are expecting an all-you-can eat buffet similar to what you get in most hotels. You only get a main and a side that you choose from a pre-set menu along with some juice and a cup of coffee.
- The beach can be an issue if you have young children as there is a rocky area when coming into the water at the front that some may find off-putting. Having said that the waters are beautiful and crystal clear. There are plenty of new and comfy sunbeds to choose from that will make your stay really relaxing.

The location is very nice and beautiful.
The beach bar, Pool area and plants very beautiful.
You can relax because there are few people in the place.
- The WiFi is almost unusable. You can open websites until about 8 a.m., then it's over when all guests (that's just a few) are awake. At midnight its possible to do some easy things on the internet.
- The service staff does not even master the absolute basics of gastronomy. They are completely disorganized - long waits, wrong orders come to the table. They are nice, but for this prices please be professionell. Please train the staff, this is ridiculous for this beautiful location.
- Price, quality and performance is a rip off. Far too expensive for what is offered - Both the room prices and the restaurant prices and service -.
