"La Brandette" is a spacious, beautifully renovated country estate, set atop 50 peaceful acres of gorgeous French countryside. The magnificent view is incomparable with rolling farmland all the way to the horizon.
It is secluded and private - the perfect place for you and your family to unwind!
Property includes beautiful, spacious and bright converted Country Barn & Guest House - with swimming pool overlooking one unforgettable view.

The space
“La Brandette” is situated 2km from the little farming village of Bouteilles, pop. 192. Featuring a breathtakingly panoramic view, the property sits on top of a hill – one of the highest points in the area.
Originally a farm dated from the 18th Century, the property consists of the following:
I. Main House:
- Upstairs Master Bedroom with King bed, Balcony and ensuite Full Bathroom with new, Italian-style walk-in Shower.
- First Floor: spacious and bright open-floorplan Living Room, Dining Room and Full Kitchen with Island.
- Separate Entrance Guest Suite with 2 Single Beds plus Sleeping Loft/Futon with Full Bathroom with bathtub.
II. Guest House:
- Master Bedroom with Queen bed
- Guest Bedroom with two single beds
- Full Bathroom with new, Italian-style, walk-in Shower.
III. Outside Areas
- Salt-Water Pool - Note: this is "european style" / **unheated**
- Dining Terrace
- Petit Petanque Court (French version of bocce)
- Outdoor Shower
The property sleeps 8-10 including the Guest Suite Loft.
Every effort has been made to retain the original architectural features in this magnificent period farmhouse. All original openings and doors have been preserved, from the original "pierre apparente" stone walls to the “poutres”/wood beams. This is a country house filled with sunlight all year round.
Both inside and out there is ample room to entertain.
Life at “La Brandette” isn’t complete without watching the sunsets or lounging under a shady tree in a hammock with a glass of wine or with a good book or both!
All in all, “La Brandette” offers everything you could want or desire for a great country holiday in France.

Main House, Guest Suite, Guest House and Pool and surrounding grounds....including the Hammock, of course!
The entire property is exclusively yours (except for one side building used for storage & supplies).
Other things to note
Salt-Water Pool is "european-style" and does not have a pool heater.
There is no Air Conditioning on the premises.

We had the pleasure of staying at La Brandette with our family, including two children under 10, and our friends who have one child under 10. We all loved it! From the minute we booked, the communication was seamless and prompt. We felt well prepared for our arrival including details about the house and points of interest nearby. It's like they knew our kids!The home itself was clean, contemporary and very family friendly. We had plenty of space for our two families to enjoy time together but also enjoy some time apart reading or relaxing. My husband loved cooking in the kitchen and I was more than happy to enjoy a glass of wine looking over the countryside. The view from the house is spectacular!It was so peaceful. A perfect spot for a real break, with a few local outings mixed in. We loved it as did our friends and would highly recommend it!

What an amazing experience. So charming and spacious - but somehow also intimate. Privacy for days. The nearby town of Verteillac is just so cute and has everything you need - especially fresh croissants! Everyone loved the pool. La Brandette looks and feels just like the photos - but the view is maybe even BETTER than the photos.

We had a wonderful time in a wonderful house and a in gorgeous region. We immediately felt home. Communications with the owner were super friendly.
What else can we say? Two thumbs up, five stars !
