About this house rental
Large newly-renovated (2021) three-level house with central air in perfect Katama location: close to the bike path, and to the beautiful sandy shores of South Beach. Pleasant 9-minute walk across beautiful farmland in Katama Plains to South Beach. The house comes with bikes for people of all ages, and offers easy access to Edgartown village as well.
The entire house features a bright, sun-filled open-design living space with lots of windows and sliders: The second floor features living room; kitchen with large prep area/breakfast bar, dining room that seats 10; and a family room with flatscreen TV, comfy sectional, and even a work area for anyone working remotely. Sliders throughout the second floor lead to a spacious deck where you can sit and listen to the sound of the surf or gaze at the stars while grilling fresh-caught swordfish…
First floor features two en-suite bedrooms (one bedroom with two queen beds; second bedroom with two double beds) and a bonus room with two bunk beds, a flatscreen TV, comfy chairs, and sliders out to the lawn. Relax on the lawn – swing on the swing, read in the hammock, play croquet, or eat lunch at the table. Enclosed large outdoor shower -- great for after a day at the beach.
Third floor features a master bedroom with king bed, a private sitting room with, a large flat-screen tv, a desk, and a master bathroom with 2 dressing areas. Watch the sunset from a small deck with distant seasonal water views of the Atlantic Ocean,

Katama is a great location for getting to South Beach and eating at the Airport Diner. The house is large enough for families to have space. Great outdoor porch for cooking outside and enjoying MV.
