Aelia Luxury Suites

The atmosphere, staff, breakfast, hot pools, and overall cleanliness were all first-class. The reception staff were exceptionally friendly, cooperative, and well-mannered. Since we arrived in the morning, we were kindly allowed to check in at 9:00 AM instead of waiting until the official check-in time of 3:00 PM, which was a wonderful gesture. The hot pools were absolutely delightful, and the sun loungers created a relaxing, beach-like atmosphere. The breakfast was outstanding, and we had one of the best omelettes ever! A big shout-out to the chef for the excellent food. The rooms were cleaned and neatly refreshed every single day, which made our stay even more comfortable. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we truly appreciated the excellent hospitality and attention to detail. Highly recommended! It would be nice to have the pools open from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM instead of current timings from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM!

The location is lovely, situated in a peaceful, clean, and pleasant neighborhood. The only minor drawback is that you need to walk about 1 km to access public transportation. Alternatively, taxis and bike or car rentals are more convenient options. One particularly helpful service is the hotel’s taxi transfer to Fira, which departs at 5:30 PM and returns at 9:30 PM. We found this service extremely convenient and made great use of it during our stay!

Staff cannot do enough for you, so helpful and attentive.

Hot tub wasn’t hot, more pool temperature, so didn’t really get full use unfortunately.

The position in the village Karterados is very strategic: close to the airport, close to the harbour and in the middle of the island which facilitates moving across the island. Away from the noise of main villages, if you want flexibility in moving around you need to rent a car or motorcycle (strongly advised the last one). Nevertheless, the Hotel offers a free shuttle service leaving every day at 5:30 PM to Fira and coming back punctual at 9:30 PM. The rooms have an amazing Santorini style, they are spacious and well equipped. The personnel is super kind, attentive towards customers and punctual in every request. The swimming pools offer a very relaxing environment and the annexed bar service open from late morning until late afternoon is very practical. We had a great time at the hotel and there is nothing else we could ask or wish. Strongly recommended!

The grounds were very pretty and the bartender was perfect along with kitchen staff.

FLIES EVERYWHERE! The tables outside the food area, the dining tables inside the restaurant. At the pool, disgusting. They held a wedding until midnight right before our room. We did not complain simply asked to check out late. One hour. Not our fault we stayed up an extra 3 hours because of the wedding. We simply asked for an additional 90 minutes and they then wanted a surcharge. I've had at least 10 flies land on me while I'm trying to write this in the breakfast area. Also no drawers and no dressers all week.
