We stayed in the one bedroom apartment with the small plunge pool which was lovely. The accommodation was a 20 minute walk into Fira town and has a bakery and grocery store nearby which was very handy.

The room itself was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. However, we ate out both nights as the room didn’t have much in the way of a kitchen or any preparation space, but we didn’t make sandwiches and breakfast at the property as there is a good size fridge. For 2-3 nights this place is perfect. The only downside is the price for taxis which is extremely expensive but this is the same for anywhere in Santorini!

The charming room set in a cave like arch has everything you could think of in such a cosey, yet spacious setting. The small kitchen arrangements meant we were able to have breakfast in two of the mornings. Theres even a little iron and ironing board! The private hot tub is a really nice touch to unwind before heading out for the evening. We arrived on the week my partner’s birthday and when we turned up there was Prosecco, cake and a little gift! It was so sweet of them. Nick, our host, could not have been more helpful and made the experience really special. His attention to detail and warm personality made such a lovely welcome. Follow all of his recommendations! The restaurants he suggested were all full of local people, delicious food scaled for how much we wanted to spend each meal, and super affordable. Santorini can be very expensive so I’d really recommend listening to Nick!

The location is a little out of the way, but, it’s very central to the island so you can get to the bud stops easily. There’s some very local restaurants nearby and a supermarket. Thera/Fira is a 10-15min walk and there’s a major bus stop there to take you wherever you like. We recommend walking for the first two days (but we like walking… 20k plus steps), and hiring a car to then explore the extremities of the island. The car hire recommended is fine, and no complaints, but massively overpriced. For the same price in mainland Europe you’d get a brand new model, not a 1990s fiat! It was fit for purpose though :)

The room is in a good condition and with good facilities.

Location is not exactly as it shown on Google/booking. The owner sent us the location by WhatsApp and it's off road. Hot tub was cold and could not be heated so we barley used it (even though we chose this room as it has a hot tub). We booked a taxi from the owner that costed 25 euro (which is pretty expensive) but we didn't have any other options in the area as it's off road. We expected a private taxi but instead it was a shared van (do taxi drivers in Santorini make 50 euros per 10 min drive?).
