About this house rental
Wake up and enjoy a morning coffee or mimosa on the front porch, a walk on the beach, or a stroll around the private paths of the neighborhood to the Intracoastal Waterway and inlet. This distinctive Holden Beach home offers a private pool and is located directly across from public beach access... the perfect setup for many fond vacation memories!
A spacious open floor plan greets you at the entrance with cathedral ceilings, picture windows, a wet bar and well-equipped kitchen. Enjoy 4 spacious bedrooms (3 king bedrooms, 1 bedroom with 2 queens), 4 full bathrooms, a cozy loft with 1 queen, several outdoor areas, private pool, an outdoor shower, and a poolside half bath.
First floor:
• King bedroom, ensuite bath with large tub
• King bedroom, full bath located in first floor hallway
Second floor:
• Queen/Queen bedroom, ensuite bath
• King bedroom with balcony, full bath located in second floor hallway
• Queen bed in very cozy loft
The outdoor spaces are a great retreat after a day on the beach. Our rocking chairs invite you to enjoy the views from the covered front porch any time of day. An outdoor shower makes rinsing off a breeze.
The private swimming pool is overlooked by a wrap-around porch and poolside half bath. The pool can be heated during certain times of year (inquire for more details).
A poolside, built-in brick barbecue and screened-in dining area provide the perfect setup for dining in.
This home is located in an oceanfront gated community at the east end of the island. You have access to the beach, inlet, and Intracoastal Waterway using the private paths from within the community as well as public beach access directly across the street.

Dunescape community: Amenities include tennis, basketball, and beach volleyball courts, as well as a community pool (which is in addition to our private pool).
Accessibility: Our home has several sets of steps leading to the entrances. The beach access directly across the street requires ascending and then descending a set of steps over the dune; however, there is another beach access just down the street which does not require steps (at the east end public parking). Please do not hesitate to inquire about any additional specifics.
Beach items and garage access: Guests have access to the garage and the beach chairs, etc. stored within the garage. There are sufficient beach chairs for the home's guest capacity. We have a beach wagon available for guest use as well as some beach toys. Note: Guests must use the front door with a unique code to enter the property.
Bed Linens and Bath Towels: Yes, we provide them! They will be delivered to the front door for you by our service provider by 4PM on check-in day.
Televisions: Each bedroom has its own TV in addition to the one in the main living area. Our cable provider's box allows you to sign in to your streaming apps.
Coffee: We have a regular drip coffee maker as well as a single pod (k-cup) coffee maker.
Golf carts and bikes: There are several companies who rent items like bicycles or street-legal golf carts and will deliver to the house on your check-in day. We are happy to provide recommendations upon request.
Airports: Wilmington (ILM) is the closest airport to Holden Beach. Myrtle Beach (MYR) is not much farther away, in the opposite direction. We would definitely recommend renting a car if flying in.

One of the best appointed houses we’ve ever stayed in!!!! The pool was wonderful and private. So glad we got it heated. Was a fabulous thing to have in the evening, and was a great comfortable temp for the 3 year old and the two one year old grandbabies. Beds were comfortable and house was very quiet(couldn’t hear the babies cry st night!). The location is amazing! Always worried about walk to beach. even though is across the street, there are houses ocean front that have a longer walk than this house has. One porch with porch swing and heavy duty rockers. One porch with screened in dining and one porch overlooking the pool. Even the pool seating is super nice composite chairs. Kitchen was super stocked with everything you need to cook with and so stocked with plastic drink ware. Even found outlet covers and cabinet locks for child safety. Two baby gates! Hope to get to stay here again!!!

Courtney and Matthew are great host! The house was great. Very clean. They are quick to respond to your text. We were able to get in early.There were cool nights and without asking they had the pool guys come and turn the heat on to the pool. Will definitely refer their place and stay there again. Great home, great location! House was clean and we got in early which is always a plus. The check-in and check-out process was easy and smooth and the owners communication was great during the week when we had questions. We liked the house so much we already reserved it for next year.
