About this cottage rental
Located on a secluded 5.3-acre property with 380 feet of privately owned beachfront on St. Georges Bay, this newly built two-story cottage offers the perfect coastal retreat. Just steps from the ocean, you'll enjoy both a front and back deck, plus a large gazebo overlooking the water - perfect for morning coffee or sunset cocktails.
Inside, the cottage is modern and cozy, with comfortable living spaces and panoramic water views.
Please note: The cottage includes ladder-style attic stairs between the main and
upper floors. These are not standard stairs and require careful use.
• Children under 9 are not permitted to stay at the cottage.
• Guests with mobility issues should use the outdoor upper deck stairs to
access the second floor.
• All guests use the stairs at their own risk. The Host is not liable for
injuries related to stair use.
To make the most of your stay, the cottage is equipped with:
• High speed wireless internet
• Satellite TV
• Outdoor fire-pit (with fire wood provided)
• Portable BBQ
• Kayaks, bicycles, fishing equipment
• Outdoor games and space to explore

This is a lovely piece of property. It's very private and relaxing. Lots of birds singing all the time and beautiful ocean views. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Steve was easily accessible and checked in via text to make sure we were comfortable.

We totally enjoyed our peaceful retreat at the beach cottage. It was the perfect size for the two of us. The views from the porch, the balcony, or the gazebo were stellar. Lovely beach to walk and watch the occassional boat go by out of the bay. Beautiful cool breezes. Steve was a great communicator and made sure we had any questions answered. The loft is a little tight if you are tall, but we did not have any issues with sleeping as the place is so quiet. Only birds in the morning to awaken us. The cottage is a good jumping off point to Cape Breton and Antigonish is only 25 min away if you want a restaurant or some interesting shops. We hope to go back one day!

If you are looking for a secluded tiny home right on a private beach, this property is for you! The beach is a pebbly beach that can be walked in both directions. The views are amazing. The narrow dirt road leading to the property gives the opportunity to see plenty of wildlife. We saw deer and bunnies galore. Several bunnies feasted on the lawn of the cottage every morning and evening! The sunsets were to die for! The cottage itself is small, cozy and clean. While I didn't use any of the equipment in the shed, there are plenty of options for outdoor adventures. We were thankful that there are stairs outside that lead to the upstairs sleeping area as the inside ladder was a bit tricky for my older body to navigate when my hands were full! The hosts checked in regularly to be sure that everything was going well. I would definitely stay here again if I were to ever go back to this area of Nova Scotia!
