About this house rental
Round house perfect for private getaway. On top of a hill with an ocean view from almost every room. Lots of trails around the house to enjoy as well as Mercer and Collard lake just up the road. Master bedroom has attached bathroom with shower/tub and king bed. Two bedrooms have queen sized beds and large closets, fourth bedroom has twin and ocean view. There is a small futon upstairs in the crows nest. A new deck with a grill. A few minutes away from the grocery store and countless amazing beach trails off hw 101 as well as downtown Florence which is full of unique shops and restaurants.

We had an amazing time at the Hilltop! Everything was beautiful. We had two young children and two dogs and the house was very kid and dog friendly. We enjoyed walking around on the trails. The only thing that was disappointing was one of the mattresses (the room closest to the garage) had large saddles on both sides of the mattress, and was very uncomfortable.

This was the most amazing property. Vuews were unbelievable. Comfort was unmatched. Everything was clearly labeled and we wanted for nothing. Plenty of games and cooking supplies. Communication with the host was quick and effortless. Highly highly recommend this place. Should i ever be fortunatel to return to the area i will definitely choose this place again.

We had an amazing weekend at the round house! The location is perfect on the central coast to explore beaches, lakes, dunes, forests, carnivorous plants! We had some rain but just cozied up in the crow’s nest and basked in the views. Beds were comfortable, kitchen well stocked…we felt right at home immediately! Thank you for this great opportunity to get away!

The house is great. The inside was very clean and well stocked with towels, cleaning products and even shower supplies. Water pressure was great and hot water so almost instant. Great points. There were a few things that if I own it and was renting it out I would do better. The big windows in the living and kitchen area are so great but they were very dirty and had spider webs all over them. (they had been there for awhile). We sprayed the windows with the hose, removed must of the spiders and webs but the windows were still dirty. I would trim some of the trees, before long there will not be a view to the ocean. The whole outside of the house needs power washed, spiders everywhere. The deck is nice but could not use because of the spiders and it needs hosed down. Off the deck was a table and chairs but the dead weeds were so tall you could not use it. The beds were uncomfortable and need replaced, living room furniture is also uncomfortable, we spent most of our time setting at the dining table. TV should be in the living area so the whole family can watch together. TV should be able to get local news stations. Washer doesn't get all the soap rinsed out so we had to rinse and spin twice. We did have a good time staying there but if we could have seen out the windows better and not see spiders while eating, and spent time in the living room as a family and slept better it would have been the best place ever!!!!
