Casa dos Gemeos

The location was superb, being only a short distance walk to beach, shops and restaurants. We did have a car which was needed to explore further afield. Although there were plenty of bus stops and taxis available so wasn’t completely necessary. The pool area and outside seating were our favourites. Comfortable sun beds and outside dining, mosquitoes are a plenty though so come prepared!! Gardener and maid came daily and were friendly. We also had issues with outside lights which were resolved very quickly by an electrician once we reported. Overall a superb relaxing holiday with family.

The inside of the property was a little tired and could do with some TLC. Some of the lights in and outside didn’t work and a very musty smell when entering property. The master bedroom was nice and had a small a/c unit but other bedrooms were hot and stuffy (fans were supplied) The short walk along the track in the evening was unpleasant as no lightning Also when neighbours dogs were out in garden they would bark aggressively at us and run along property fences. There were 5 very big dogs, which if wanted could easily jump fence!

Beautiful property in Praia da Luz. Excellent location, wonderful view from the terraces, great pool and surrounding gardens, spacious, clean interiors with lots of amenities. Friendly host and staff. Would certainly return and recommend to family and friends!

A few more basics would have been appreciated (ex: paper towel, laundry detergent pods, salt/pepper, coffee machine with pods). Otherwise, a great place to spend a week or two!

property is in need of updating, toilet didn’t flush properly, bath plug hole was rusty, bathroom tiles cracked. some furniture was worn and threadbare. Bed mattress in twin room was very uncomfortable and pillows were not of a good quality. the property felt damp and humid.
