This was a large apartment with a beautiful rooftop deck and equally scenic balcony. It overlooked the lake and the sea, and we were treated with wonderful sunrises every morning. The apartment was comfortable, and well appointed our host, Eleni, was always available and very helpful. The beach nearby was expansive and good for swimming, even near the end of November.
Due to its location on top of the cliff, and the nature of the town, there was a lot of climbing up and down steps. If you are a person with mobility issues, this would be a problem. However, this is the nature of the town, and also some of its charm.

Location was in town close to everything. Great restaurants, the Lake. Eleni is a beautiful host who gave lots of gifts and home made cookies. She went out of her way to purchase a special tea for us. Arranged taxi etc. The apartment is very well fitted out with all amenities and extras.
Eleni also greeted us on our arrival and carried our heavy suitcases up the stairs.
We loved our stay and would do it again
The hills and stairs in Agios Nikolaos are challenging.

Absolutely wonderful apartment with a beautiful view! Perfect location everything is close by. The place is spotless and parking is very easy and convenient. There’s excellent communication with the owner, who is kind and always ready to help. The apartment is very well equipped, the kitchen has everything you might need, including an iron, washing machine and hairdryer. I wish all apartments were like this one!
P.S. The coffee-making equipment is amazing!

The location was very handy for shopping, restaurants and the main old town area and port. Is is a 10 minute walk to the main bus station. There is a good supermarket within a 3 minute walk.
As the area is very hilly, there are slopes and/or steps to get to/from the apartment in all directions. The immediate area is a bit rundown, compared to the other side of the lake.
