Domaine Edegger - Organic Winery Badacsony

The property is set in beautiful, peaceful surroundings and offers excellent wines. The staff were exceptionally helpful, attentive and genuinely kind throughout our stay. We felt truly welcome and comfortable the entire time — and our dogs enjoyed it just as much as we did.

The apartment is located in a new building on the territory of the winery. It is modern, clean, functional, and comfortable. Check-in is straightforward. If you want to have breakfast, you have to order (and pay) it extra. For us, it was absolutely worth the price. Another plus is the small jacuzzi/sauna area: one has to pre-book it for a time slot of two hours, which means it is reserved for you alone. The winery itself is located in the connecting street on the foot of the former volcano, meaning that there is not much car traffic (rather: bicycles) and a beautiful view. Definitely worth a visit!

We have nothing to complain about. However, you may want to know that there are no spices/ingredients at all in the kitchen. Also, in the apratments on the second floor there are only blinds on the roof windows, but not the "vertical" ones. None of which is a problem for us.

This is a really nice place to stay and enjoy days off. I must say the staff is really kind, keep them. :-)

Everything was good. One remark, that please dear Mr. Austrian Owner, buy a proper barista coffee machine to produce excellent quality coffee too. ;-)

A beautiful apartment, well equipped and modern with a nice view of the lake from our balcony. Friendly staff members that gave is excellent referrals for restaurants we should go to.
