Had a few issues - ticks, HVAC - that we had to deal with but overarching problem was lack of communication.
Location could hardly have been any better.
Condo has many very nice features.

This was a great place to stay for a couple. We tend to vacation during non-tourist season as it is less crowded and less noisy. Counter space is at a premium in the kitchen area. This was not a major issue for us since we do not cook on vacation. The counter space barely had enough room for the coffee pot and toaster. Terrific view of the Bay. The staff is great at getting any issues or questions attended too quickly. Yes, we'd recommend staying here.

The unit we stayed in had two hot water heaters in closets off the living room. When the upstairs tenants turned on the shower in their unit, there was a loud screeching sound in our unit. Twice in the middle of the night while we were sleeping, our shower in our unit suddenly turned on and woke us up with a steady stream that needed to be turned off. We were also instructed in the management notes that we were to use the dark colored washcloths for makeup removal or we could be charged for ruining the white ones. However, our unit did not have any dark colored washcloths. Overall, a disappointing stay at The Shores and we will not stay here again.
