Kitchen is fully equipped with new dishes and plenty of cookware and utensils to prepare any meal! We had an absolutely wonderful stay celebrating my dad’s 75th birthday. The lake house was peaceful, comfortable, and exactly what we needed for a special family getaway. The owners truly went above and beyond—the handwritten card they left for us was such a thoughtful touch and meant so much. The neighbors were also incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The only downside was the low water level due to the drought, but that was completely out of anyone’s control. Overall, we were blown away by the care and hospitality and would absolutely stay here again!

We had a fantastic stay at this Vrbo rental and would absolutely come back again. The host was wonderful—very responsive, helpful, and easy to communicate with throughout our trip.The house itself was exactly what we were looking for—comfortable, well-kept, and perfectly suited to our needs. Being right on the water was a huge plus and made it easy to relax and enjoy our time at Lake Gaston, especially with the convenient access from the cove.We especially loved having access to the dock. Even though it’s shared, it felt like our own private space since the neighbors didn’t use it during our stay. The boat lift was a big bonus and made things really convenient. We also had a great time using the kayaks and paddle board that were available—it added a lot to the overall experience.Overall, this was a great stay, and we’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient lake getaway.

We enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again! I was a little skeptical about the shared boat dock and basically the back yard once I realized it was shared. However, the neighbors were very friendly and it really was no issue at all. The home was clean and relaxing! Host was kind and informative. Great place to stay!

We’re a group of friends that always spend some time on LKG every summer. The house was just what we needed. Adequate room, nice place to moor our boat, I got to bring my pup with me, & we loved the screened in porch! Would definitely stay here again!
