The location was just superb, in 10 mins by foot you could be in Ortigia, in 20 mins in the archaeological part of the city. Also the apartment is very close to many good restaurants.
Plus: located in the inner yard, it gets quiet and dark, very good for sleeping in.
The apartment is old, there was a strong mushy smell either from the bathroom or the AC. In either case, it wasn’t too pleasant.

If your arrive with car, the location is a great advantage. You can park on the street for free (sometimes needs to go around a few times to find a place though). Ortigia is 10 minutes away, but there are plenty of great restaurants and bars around the corner.
The apartment has no windows only the door.

Very central good location to everything

This appartment is in walking distance to Ortigia, the train station and to the ancient site. Cafes for Breakfast and a bakery also very near. Very nice host. Rooms are clean, good shower and toilet.
The entrance door is the only window to the room, so the room is rather dark. We didn't like the room-fragrance (lemon) too much.
