Rooftop Apartment, Exclusive City and Mountain View

Sehr nett und stilvoll eingerichtetes kleines Apartment mitten in Gmunden. Alles fußläufig oder mit dem Fahrrad zu erreichen. Checkin war reibungslos möglich. Parken in der 3min entfernten Tiefgarage (Spar) möglich. 20€/24h zwar nicht wenig, aber nicht unüblich in Österreich direkt am See. Dafür absolut stressbefreit. Mit etwas Glück kann man direkt vor der Wohnung kurz parken und ausräumen, hat bei uns sowohl bei Ankunft als auch bei Abreise geklappt. Wir empfanden es als sehr angenehm, dass ein Grundstock an Lebensmitteln bzw. Gewürzen und Verbrauchsgegenständen etc. vor Ort war und haben auch wieder etwas aufgefüllt. Macht einfach Sinn nicht alles wegzuwerfen. Sehr tolle Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe ebenfalls zu Fuß zu erreichen, genauso wie entsprechende Badestellen (5-10min). Der Bergblick ist natürlich der Hammer.

Nice interior made with love and much detail. Full of books for adults and children, some toys as well. Elevator available. Best equipped kitchen I ever saw in apartments. Nice view, excellent location, friendly staff.

Please buy a microwave. I would rebuild the bath to make a bigger shower.

I immediately fell in love with the cozy little rooftop apartment. The interieur is simple but nothing ist missing. Especially the old wooden table invited me to sit and drink my coffee from authentic Gmundner Keramik cups for hours, and enjoy the warm sun by the window with a lake-view. The location of Traunsee-rooftop is exceptionally good - it is just a few meters next to a cute little village square with a bookshop, a bakery and a small café. I will definitely come back and also take my son with me, as the appartement is very familyfriendly.
