Outrageously disappointed

From outside looks amazing but everything changes when you enter inside. Amenities are shown on the advert as basic, what was not shown is how worn and dirty the furnishings are.... a foam sofa, so dirty that it was crusty to the touch, this was covered with a blanket to try and conceal the filth. There was nowhere to just sit and relax as the build up of grime was so intense. Upstairs windows were covered with an infestation of flying black ant's, and again, the curtains had been pulled over them to try and conceal. Used, dirty slippers/shoes left inside the property. From the log house, it was a good 100 yard walk to the toilet and shower building. Toilet door did not shut and showers just had a curtain so privacy was minimal. Advertised sauna was not available. We ended up leaving within half hour of arrival as we felt the level of cleanliness was unacceptable and were left with no choice but to find alternative accommodation for the night with two young, distressed children.... We requested a refund which the owner refused. As stated previously, we expected the amenities to be basic, but the hygiene standards were an absolute disgrace.

Peaceful getaway

Peaceful and huge property of owners that consists of this sauna/guest house (this property), camping, guest kitchen/toilet/shower building that also works as a tiny shop offering their local eggs, honey, jams, teas, socks and so much more. We loved the breakfast that they offer and how they made us feel taken care of without feeling disturbed or disturbing them. The sauna house was very cozy and comfortable. The view from balcony to the pond was outstanding and the garden was very inspiring. What makes this property stand out in the surroundings of Šiauliai - other places are very crowded and here you could see no neighbours so the stay was very peaceful.

It was a little difficult to heat the house since we didn’t order sauna and with fireplace only the chimney upstairs remained cold. Probably would be different if we ordered sauna. However, warm blankets and cozy beds saved the night :)

The wooden house is beautiful and the beds are very comfy. You have a small kitchenette (no oven but fridge), with some utensils at the house itself and a fully kitchen you can use, just 50meters away. The wooden house is at the beautiful garden, there are lots of fruits and vegetables and even herbs. You can buy these (just ask). Milda is very friendly and we felt welcome!

I know that this is considered as camping but toilet or even sink inside of the house would be such an advantage. Still great place to stay.

Peaceful, beautiful and great facilities!

The place was absolutely beautiful and so peaceful! The hosts greeted us with big smiles on their faces and helped us with our suitcases. As it was still quite cold outside every evening upon our return the hosts made sure the fire was going and the house was always nice and warm when we got back. The facilities were very clean and had everything we needed. Absolutely recommend it was gorgeous! Thank you!

Great place with a charm!

This little charming log house has everything you might need, the surroundings were really nice and the owner welcoming and friendly. I am really happy for this choice!

We were travelling with a toddler, so we would have been very appreciative to have some safety gates for stairs. But that wasn't so big issue.
