The Basics
Guests must be 21+ to book. The Artsy Cabin is a cozy retreat for up to 2 guests — children over 12 months count toward the guest total. Only registered guests are permitted on the property. Visitors are welcome with prior approval — just reach out and we`ll do our best to accommodate. Hosting unregistered guests carries a $100 per night per person fee.
Your Furry Plus-One 🐾
We love dogs! One dog — and one dog only — is welcome at The Artsy Cabin. No cats, no other animals, no exceptions. A $95 flat pet fee applies and must be added during booking. Bringing an unregistered pet or more than one pet results in a $500 fine.
We ask that your dog stays off all furniture and beds. Dogs must be crated when left alone and kept on a leash at all times outdoors. Please bring waste bags — outdoor cleanup by our team will be passed along as an additional charge. Any accidents indoors carry a $300 fee plus replacement costs for damaged items. Excessive shedding cleanup will incur an additional charge.
Traveling with a service dog? Please register them with us before your stay. Service dogs must remain leashed at all times and cannot be left alone in the cabin.

The Artsy Cabin is a quiet retreat — no loud parties, events, fireworks, or shooting. We want you to unwind completely and soak in that Hill Country stillness. 🤫
Smoke-Free Zone
The cabin is 100% smoke-free indoors. Any smoking inside carries a minimum $500 cleaning fee. If you smoke outdoors, please take your butts with you — a $50 cleanup fee applies if our team has to collect them.

Great rental property. Loved the front porch with rockers and a swing chair. The fire pit and outside solar lights added to the ambiance, and the Weber grill allowed us to cook outdoors. Private, secluded, but accessible to all Wimberley attractions. We’ll definitely try to book this cottage again when visiting the area. Couldn’t “register” with the tablet as requested upon arrival, and the light over the stove didn’t work. Minor quibbles!

We had such an amazing time at the Lazy Lavender cottage. Very clean and welcoming, suited for a family with a little one. We had breakfast every day outside. The location was great, close but enough distance out. We will certainly be back!

Spent New Years Eve & Day with my partner at this lovely, quaint place, which I was fortunate to come across. Both of us were looking forward to exploring the town & surrounding points of interest, although most places were either closed due to New Years Day observance or COVID limitations.
All was not lost with the weekend getaway, as we both enjoyed the ambiance of The Lazy Lavender Home and exploring nearby places like downtown & a scenic lounge called The Shady Llama.
Would definitely return to The Lazy Lavender Home & escape for some downtime!
