With Canyon Road art district just around the corner and only a 1/2 mile walk to Santa Fe plaza; makes for a perfect location.
Grab a coffee at the local cafe or take a stroll along the Santa Fe river path.
Retreat back to your sweet haven and relax in the peaceful private courtyard or your studio TV lounge.

Historic Haven:
This home perfectly accommodates two adults who appreciate being in the heart of historic Santa Fe.
The whole house including the studio is cooled by mini-splits/heat pump.
The units are quiet and extremely efficient. Also allow for you to set the temp differently in each room which is great for your preferred comfort levels.
Ambience fills every corner of the neighborhood with quaint architecture amid the faint echo of the renowned St. Francis Cathedral bells.
If you are art lovers, you will adore Canyon Road with over a mile of galleries and restaurants in converted adobes only two blocks from your door.
The front entrance through the adobe wall is a wooden gate onto the private courtyard with outdoor seating.
The front door leads into a sunroom spilling into a light filled living area which blends both contemporary and traditional. Features are white-washed vigas, wood floors throughout, granite, subway tile, and custom window treatments.
The living area has a traditional kiva wood burning fireplace which is operable November-April. There is also a contemporary leather seating area with a dining table and four chairs.
The main house does not have a TV (there is a smart TV in the adjacent studio).
The space is bright and lively with skylights and several windows.
There is a fully equipped galley kitchen with high-end granite counters and rich veneered cabinetry.
The kitchen is extremely efficient, with a two-burner gas cooktop, wall oven and dishwasher. The washer/dryer is also in the kitchen. There is a door leading out to the courtyard where you can enjoy your morning coffee or evening glass of vino.
The bedroom has a queen size bed and is street-facing. However, the street is very small and on a relatively quiet Santa Fe road.
Directly off the hall from the bedroom is the crisp bathroom in white subway tile with a tub/shower.
Cozy up in the fun separate studio TV lounge with a wet bar and a second bathroom.
The shower is oversized with beautiful hand-made Mexican tile.
The wet bar has a traditional ceramic Mexican sink. It’s a mere few steps out the front door across the courtyard. This area is cooled by a mini-split A/C unit and ceiling fan.
Lastly, enjoy all of the beautiful art hanging on the walls. Amy, the owner, is the artist.
There is a small parking space for a compact car along the side of the home.
Note that pets are not permitted on the property.
We hope you enjoy our home as much as we do.

NEIGHBORHOOD

This authentic adobe home has it all. It is well located in a tree-lined and quiet residential area within easy walking distance of Canyon Road galleries and restaurants as well as the central plaza area of Santa Fe. The home itself has a spacious living and dining area that is beautifully decorated. The kitchen is very well equipped and outfitted with new appliances. This is the best maintained vacation rental property we have ever stayed in and we could not have been happier with our choice of this home for our first trip to Santa Fe. We would definitely stay here again.

This was our third visit to Santa Fe. This little house was perfect for our stay. While small, it had room enough for my wife and I to spread out and be comfortable. The galley kitchen was well stocked. We thought the outdoor space would be a little larger, but again it was great for two people to enjoy; we sat out there each afternoon with a beer or glass of wine and enjoyed the birds singing and the peaceful area. We took advantage of the large shower in the casita. The location is ideal; just a short walk to The Plaza and Canyon Road (15 minute walk to the Plaza and Canyon Road was half a block away from the house). We walked to restaurants daily for dinner and a couple times for breakfast (The Shed and Joe’s Tequila Bar were our favorite dinner spots, and enjoyed Fusion Taco (food truck) and The Burrito Co. for breakfast - try the blue corn pancakes!). The location allowed us to really explore Santa Fe on foot so that we did not have to deal with parking. Plus we were close to some nice hiking trails. The house was very clean, and had everything we needed. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. Excellent communication and information with the owner/property manager. No issues at all. We would definitely stay here again.

The property was within walking to the Square and other attractions. The house was wonderful, top notch! We enjoyed watching tv in the casita a few steps across the patio. We would definitely stay there again.
