The building was charming and beautifully decorated in the most extraordinary countryside. Highly, highly recommended for travellers after history, culture or some incredible beaches.

We would have liked to have known a bit more history of the building itself, but that’s a very minor issue.

Our stay in the Old Chapel was absolutely and truly amazing!

Our stay in the Old Chapel was absolutely and truly amazing! There was'nt the tiniest detail missing, everything was there so we could have moved right in and stayed for ever. All rooms decorated with such loving detail, very clean and super very comfortable. The fire place was great to get warmed up again after long April walks along the nearby coastal walk. Our host surprised us with a welcome pack including delicious Cornish produce and even some fresh flowers on the table so it really felt like coming home. The chapel is perfectly located as a base for exploring the western parts of Cornwall and also only a short walk away across the fields from the cornwall coastal path towards the old mines which are great for exploring with children. The small supermarket in St. Just is well equipped with everything you need so no need to drive to the large stores in Penzance. Since we were there over Easter our host even made us a small Easter present in the form of yummy Easter muffins. We could not recommend this place more and were very sad to have to leave. But we will come back for sure!! Thanks for everything, Janine!!

Exceptional

Everything was so thought through to the last detail. The beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed the wood burner.

It was very near the road which was busy but the chapel walls were so thick we didn’t hear the traffic

Spacious, clean and great sociable living space in an excellent location, beautiful beaches close by

We had a great stay, the house was so well equipped with everything you could need and a really nice welcome hamper with a delicious cream tea! We actually didn’t think the photos online did the place justice as it was much lighter, brighter and more spacious than we were imagining. I would absolutely recommend it and the location was brilliant for exploring a number of different places locally.

The parking was on quite a busy road but there was plenty of space. The bunk bed mattresses were quite hard but that was a very minor point and other than that we really did like it all!

Nice accommodation, with plenty of space and everything supplied that you could possible need.Host Janine goes the extra mile with a great welcome hamper and ensuring the Chapel is at its best when you arrive.Theres a few pubs within walking distance serving great food , St Just about 5min drive from property and can get busy.

The property is beautiful and well supplied to make you stay as comfortable as possible.

It’s a little remote but St Just centre is a short drive away. Sennen Cove (about a 20 minute drive) is a beautiful beach and not over crowded.

Loved the mezzanine kitchen / lounge. Beautiful interior design. Extremely well appointed- everything was considered- even down to a sewing kit 😍 Great accessibility- especially as I broke my ankle on day two!!

Parking was a bit challenging at times, but then our party comprised of three cars. Such a shame there is no garden. We got a few waves from the top level of the local bus 😂

Stunning edge of moorland village property with sea views

An exquisite house restored to a very high finish by people with a designer’s eye for maintaining a consistent aesthetic theme. The Old Chapel has plenty to do locally, including ready access to Geevor Mine, wonderful wild local beaches, the lovely village of St Just, plenty of excellent pubs serving tasty food and ready access to Lands End, Zennor, St Ives, and Penzance for a big shop. Our hosts were lovely and helpful. The welcome pack was just what we needed after a long drive and no time to shop.

It’s hard to say that anything was an issue really. We had a lovely time and were well looked after. People with larger cars need to park on the road but we parked every day next to a fine Cornish hedge only 100m away.

Es un alojamiento con mucho carácter, diferente. Muy espacioso y decorado hasta el más mínimo detalle. Tienes todo lo que puedas necesitar. Janine, la anfitriona fue muy amable. Nos dio todo tipo de detalles sobre la zona y nos dejó un pack de bienvenida.

Como las ventanas son de una capilla, salvo una de ellas no se pueden abrir y no se puede airear la casa; pero tampoco supuso realmente un problema.

Grandiose Atmosphäre in einer alten Kapelle zu wohnen. Sehr sauber und gemütlich. Mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Sogar frisch geschnittene Sonnenblumen in der Vase auf der Anrichte. Sehr gut ausgestattete Küche. Sehr bemühte und engagierte Gastgeberin. An kühleren Tagen funktioniert das Heizen des Hauses mit den installierten Radiatoren ganz problemlos. Außerdem gibt es einen tollen mit Holz zu befeuernden Ofen. Danke für das nette Wellcome Package. Somit hat man gleich ein kleines erstes Frühstück, wenn man noch nicht eingekauft hat.
