Ilsington View is comfortably furnished for a true countryside escape within walking distance of the breathtaking Dartmoor National Park.. 4 steps to entrance.

Lawned courtyard garden (shared with owner). 2 dogs only welcome, to be kept on a lead at all times (sheep country). Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. Please note: There are 4 steps to the garden and a steep drop from the garden to the road.. Ilsington View is an ideal retreat from the daily grind and a great base from which to explore Dartmoor National Park and the coastline further south. This cosy holiday home has a spacious, bright and airy open plan living space, has been stylishly decorated and comes with underfloor heating. The property has two spacious bedrooms and a family bathroom.
The local village of Ilsington feels like it’s in the middle of nowhere, yet it’s just 4 miles from the A38, and a 45-minute drive south to the coast. It’s a 20-minute walk to a good foodie pub, as well as the local country store and village shop. The most famous tor on Dartmoor, Hay Tor, is 2 miles away where walking and cycle routes abound. The Miniature Pony Centre, 9 miles, is great for families, and a local riding centre, 5 miles, offers hacks on the moors. Dartmoor National Park is literally on the doorstep making this the perfect rural retreat. Beach 13¼ miles. Shop and pub 1 mile, restaurant 3¾ miles.
