Great location just a few blocks from breweries and downtown Ballard with lots of shops and restaurants. Also very close to Safeway and Walgreens. The unit was clean and comfortable and we had everything we needed- the provided espresso pods and ground coffee were a nice touch! Fyi, we didn't realize but the 2 bedrooms and the kitchen/living room area are all on different levels in the townhome. Host was responsive and helpful. Thanks for a nice stay!

A lovely neighborhood of houses, condos, apts and townhouses yet we never heard the neighbors. In the heart of craft beer breweries. Lots to walk to. Beds are so comfortable. Second bedroom doesnt have a closet and there is nowhere to hang clothes in case this is important to you. Otherwise perfect place to hang out for a few days.

Vince sent us a welcome packet that outlined what would be included at the property such as toiletries, towels, etc. and even a reminder list of items to pack. It was a great way to start the trip feeling prepared. The welcome instructions were very easy to follow. We stopped by one of the three grocery stores within walking distance of the property on our way and were equipped for a great week. Everything at the property was as advertised and we really enjoyed our stay. There was an inflatable bed that gave us some extra flexibility in sleeping spaces. We were traveling as a family and I will note that one bedroom is on the entry level and one is on the third floor. This worked well for us, but I think that the distance between the two might feel like a bit much if we’d been traveling with a very young child. The kitchen was well stocked and we did a lot of cooking. Overall, the location is incredibly walkable, and the house is very comfortable. No complaints to speak of, unless you count the annoyance of street parking.. but that’s a neighborhood issue, definitely not unique to this property. We enjoyed our stay and would book again.

This property has everything! The unit was very clean, well maintained and included all amenities as described. Even though we didn’t cook, it would’ve been an easy option since a market is just a block or so away and cooking utensils were plentiful. The location is more than ideal to explore this great area filled with coffee shops, restaurants, breweries and distilleries. The host was not only quick to respond but checked up on us as well to make sure everything was in order. I highly recommend this VRBO!

This is a beautiful home and right in the heart of Ballard, Seattle. Everything is walkable and the area nearby is very safe and clean. The house was amazing, very clean and spacious for a long stay.

Great location but disappointed about my expectations. Was looking forward to cooking and relaxing on the rooftop with the fire pit. Upon entry, I noticed a small hotel size refrigerator next to the large stainless steel fridge that I realized wasn't working. Not being able to buy enough groceries to store in the refrigerator was annoying and inconsiderate. Next, the remote that controls the blinds in the master bedroom didn't work and was stuck down so I couldn't raise the blinds. When I tried to turn on the firepit, the ignition wouldn't work. I reached out about all the items and was told that the propane gas was not supplied by the owner! Nothing was mentioned in the guide for the property. When I inquired about the blinds and refrigerator, I was told that maintenance would be notified about the refrigerator and it was probably the batteries regarding the remote for the blinds. I decided to check the reviews for the property since things had clearly changed since the initial booking. The broken refrigerator and non-working blinds have been an issue since July! I don't appreciate being lied to and feel that this property is definitely deceiving people. When people are complaining and you still choose not to fix things for months and continue to lie, you're being shady! The heat is also not adjustable, it's stuck on 63F. The lights on the rooftop are fixed so you can't plug them in. There's about 2 inches from the plug to the outlet. Cheap paper towels and toilet paper.

This home is on a quiet street, which is key for me, in a cute neighborhood. It is a short uber ride away from everything Seattle has to offer. The photos are accurate and the beds are very comfortable. The fridge was not working so a mini-fridge was provided. If you plan to do a lot of food shopping be sure to check with the owner about the fridge. (Oct 2023)

Great location. Quite. Roof top deck was fun. Only issue was the blinds in the master suite. They are powered and won’t descend all the way. Couldn’t change in the bedroom. Had to go into the bathroom. They were not fixed during our stay. Notification the the refrigerator didn’t work would have been good. The temp frig was fine, but we thought about ice cream. It wouldn’t have fit in the temp frig.

This location was prime and withing walking distance to the restaurants and bars in Ballard. It is a nice sized place for a couple friends. The one downside was that the fridge didn't work! I communicated it to Vince, but it seemed like it wasn't going to get fixed until after our stay nor was he too concerned about it. In the middle of summer, the fridge was necessary for our food and we therefore had to throw away a lot of our food that we had planned to keep refrigerated. It was necessary for me to have a working fridge to store my breastmilk during my stay and unfortunately I had to dump so many ounces of breastmilk. Additionally, the window in the master bedroom didnt close and the motorized blinds didnt close all the way either so we were woken up at 6am by the sun and noise outside. We got this place for the key location to Ballard and it was super cute, but some of the broken amenities prevented us from having a 5 star experience. Vince was responsive to my texts though and seemed very nice!

We had several problems with this property. The biggest problem was that when we arrived the fridge was not working and it never got fixed or replaced during our five night stay. The ice trays in the freezer had mold spots on them indicating that the freezer hadn’t been working for some time. We like to enjoy making our breakfast in the morning and having cheese and cold wine to snack on. The lack of a fridge made that impossible for this vacation. A second problem was that the motorized blind in the bedroom only came down two thirds of the way. We ended up stacking up sofa pillows along the bottom of the window to block light and neighbors view into the bedroom. We reported these problems to the host and Vrbo on the day we arrived but never got the problems fixed. There were housekeeping issues besides mold spots on the ice trays. There was spaghetti sauce splattered inside the microwave and small ants in the bathroom floor and sink. The host did offer to give us a discount on part of our rent but it doesn’t make up for the problems that didn’t get resolved. If the problems got fixed this would be a nice unit. In spite of all this we still had a great time visiting the Seattle area but this review is on the rental unit and not our overall vacation.

10++ for accessibility of everything Ballard. Place was spotless, decor modern Only downside is that living space is REALLY small, only seating for three plus bar. It would be nice to squeeze an extra chair in since the place can sleep five, but not enough sit around seating for comfort. Rooftop nice bonus since the weather was good. All in all, were really happy with the accomodations.

My husband and I stayed for two nights in this beautiful townhome walking distance from breweries, restaurants, and grocery. Once we parked the car we didn’t use it again until we left. Vince and Ann have an impeccable space and I only wish we had more time so I could have made a meal in the beautiful kitchen. There’s also an amazing rooftop that we would have used in warmer weather. Excellent communication with our host and extremely easy check in and out. Highly recommend.

My husband and I spent 3 nights in this lovely little property. First off, know that the house is TINY (something like 1000 sq ft), so if you are on the larger size, you may feel somewhat claustrophobic in the stairwells, especially. Having said that, the house is super cute, with very thoughtful, personal touches throughout. The 3rd floor bedroom is VERY comfy with super soft linens, plenty of hangers and closet space, a large TV, and an incredible shower. There were plenty of towels and other sundries provided, as well! Just like most properties in Seattle, street parking is the norm here. A couple of times if we got back to the house late, we were "forced" about a block away. It really wasn't an issue as this neighborhood is close to activity, but far enough away that it's very quiet and safe. I was slightly annoyed by the amount of communication from the owner (each contact initiated was received 4 times via Vrbo, personal text, personal email, and email from their property management), but it was always helpful information. All told, I would happily stay in this residence again knowing I chose somewhere clean, safe, well-appointed and with gorgeous views of the surrounding area.

A clean, sharply designed apartment. Just a few blocks walk away from brewery nirvana. A short drive from the leafy, historic Sunday Farmers Market. Only negative was a homeless camp down the street--a tough reminder of Seattle's challenges.
