Veules-les-Roses - Charming house in Normandy, a 2-minute walk from the beach

Villa Les Bruyères is an authentic charming Norman house, ideally located in the heart of the village of Veules-les-Roses, in a small quiet cul-de-sac, a few steps from the sea and shops.

It is a warm family home, designed to comfortably accommodate parents, children and friends, for a long weekend or a holiday by the sea.

Completely renovated, the house has retained its character while offering modern comfort. The decoration has been carefully chosen: soft colours, warm materials, carefully chosen furniture... You immediately feel at home.

At the back, a courtyard and then a fully enclosed garden, accessible by an external staircase, offer an intimate and secure space for children, family meals and moments of relaxation in the open air.

Free parking for one vehicle is possible right in front of the house (access and reserved space on request).

The house develops approximately 135 m², allowing everyone to find their place while enjoying generous common areas.

On the first floor, a large bright living room brings together:
• a friendly lounge, ideal for relaxing after the beach, playing with the family or sharing an aperitif,
• a warm dining room for large meals all together,
• A completely renovated, friendly and functional American kitchen, open to the living room.

Rooms & family spirit

We offer 4 rooms for rent: 3 adult rooms (3 double beds) and 1 children's room (1 single bed).

1st floor
• Bedroom n°1 – "Les Roses": 1 double bed. Cosy and warm atmosphere, ideal for a couple, with its old metal bed and pink duvet that gently recalls the charm of Veules-les-Roses.

• Bedroom n°2 – "Les Galets": 1 single bed. Room in grey tones, enhanced with a few touches of red, perfect for a child or teenager after a day at the beach.

• Bedroom n°3 – "La Veules": 1 double bed. Room in shades of blue-grey, shell and linen, in a soft and relaxing atmosphere. Access to bedroom n°3 is through bedroom n°2. The two bedrooms are separated by a door, forming a very practical sleeping area for a family with children.

2nd floor
• Bedroom n°4 – "The Cliffs": 1 double bed. Green duvet, carpet and Indian-inspired decoration for this real retreat under the roof, quiet and pleasant, ideal for seclusion and rest.

On request, it is possible to add a baby cot in one of the bedrooms (n°1 or n°4) in order to comfortably accommodate the little ones.

Capacity: 7 people maximum.

Ideal configurations:

• 3 couples and 1 child, or
• 2 couples and 3 children.

Comfort & bedding

The house is designed for a carefree stay:
• each bed is equipped with duvets, pillows, mattress protectors, mattress pads and pillow protectors,
• sheets are provided and washed at 60°,
• The bedding (large beds) and protections are very recent, to guarantee you a comfortable sleep after your days at the sea.

A small seaside resort full of charm and many activities

Veules-les-Roses is a charming Normandy seaside resort, where everything is easily done on foot from the house:
• Tennis courts: approx. 400 m
• Cinema: 50 m
• Beach and water activities: about 300 m
• Fishing on foot with the family
• Restaurants, bars, shops and market (on Wednesdays)
• Library, bookstore, art galleries
• Church, chapel
• Walk along the Veules (smallest river in France and circuit of the mills)
• Fishermen's boats (fish, mussels, oysters, scallops, etc.)
