A special place to stay in a stunning village

In the convenient heart of Balazuc, Maison du Troubadour is a credit to the hosts - a conversion that reflects style, taste, thoughtful design that’s a nod to its rich history and space galore for the four of us. Amenities are plentiful and it was a pleasure to stay here, relax and explore this hidden gem of a village and surrounds. The little courtyard provides a nice space for lunch.

So much to love - the fittings, attention to detail in every aspect of design. Just the beds lacked a little comfort and the double could have been a queen size. The 500€ deposit, while understandable for such a beautiful Maison, could have been advised at time of booking.

Great comfort in beautiful location !

This is one of the most comfortable rentals we have ever stayed in. The home, located at the top of the medieval village of Balazuc is a recently refurbished old establishment. Much attention was given to detail such as lighting and comfort. A large HD flat screen TV provides a cinema experience. The kitchen is very well equipped (maybe a few small pots could be added) and the showers (there are two) are walk-in and state of the art. A public parking lot is within 100 m from the entrance, luggage can be unloaded and loaded closer to the door.

We really liked everything about the remodelling, however, the mattresses are very firm and reading lights would make a nice addition around the house.

Fabulous new villa in one of the most beautiful villages in France

We are the first guests who has stayed in this beautiful (BIG) villa. Great taste! Very comfortable and clean. Alina and Ludovic thought about all the small details. In the kitchen you will find everything you need: a cleaning kit, trash bags, coffee, sugar, salt, spices, oil, wine, fruit, juice etc. Lovely, clean beach. Thank you Alina for your guided tour! :)

The owner will install airconditioning very soon. Everything else was perfect!

Après un accueil particulièrement sympathique, nous avons pu profiter de ce logement de très grande qualité. Tout est là, une maison ancienne rénovée avec goût, un agencement et des équipements qui nous donnent l'impression d'être chez nous! Un logement tout à fait adapté à de longs séjours et familles, nous serions volontiers restés plus longtemps. Un grand merci !

Superbe appartement, neuf , meuble de façon contemporaine et tres confortable. Tres original et design .

La caution demandée devait être en espèces !? J’ai demandé à la payer en chèque. La propriétaire a accepté ( exceptionnellement !?) et a gardé la carte d’identité alors que j’avais déjà réglé le montant total du séjour. Trop de méfiance ??

Magnifique endroit

Maison parfaitement rénovée! Matériaux très qualitatifs ! Accueil au top ! Chaque chose est parfaitement pensée. Chaque équipement est de qualité et fonctionne parfaitement. Pièces spacieuses et lumineuses. Situation dans le village parfaite. Pas très loin d un parking et d une autre de stationnement en cas d affluence.

Gite spacieux dans un très beau village.

Gîte très spacieux, très bien décoré et équipé. Tout est nickel. Au centre d'un très joli village, au calme. Parking gratuit tout près. Nombreux sites d'intérêt à proximité. Propriétaire réactive.

Chauffage un peu limite dans la pièce à vivre (mois de février, 10° dehors); pas de chauffage dans les chambres mais compensé par de bonnes couettes.

Un village qui vaut le détour.

Nous avons aimé la localisation au cœur du vieux village de Balazuc. La maison mitoyenne (normal pour un centre-village) est organisée en duplex avec goût.

Un (grand) bémol pour l’odeur de tabac froid dans toutes les pièces et sur les tissus. Nous avons pâti d’un manque de respect des lieux des locataires précédents. A priori cela est exceptionnel. A noter également le grand frigo en cuisine en panne et remplacé par un petit frigo plus âgé. Rien de bien grave.

Cette maison en pierre rénovée avec beaucoup de goût nous a permis de passer deux superbes soirées !

Le logement est tout simplement magnifique !! L'hôte a pensé à tout pour que l'on passe un bon séjour et que l'on se sente chez nous ! 🥰 Et il y a des petits détails qui font la différence : le ménage, le plaid, le PQ neuf à chaque visiteur... 😉

Les couettes n'étaient pas très chaudes mais cela ne nous a pas trop déranger pour passer de bonnes nuits ! Et on a pas trouvé de briquet pour mes bougies d'anniversaire ! 😜

Week-end fabuleux entre amis à la maison du troubadour

Emplacement dans le village, tout correspondait à la description et aux photos. L' accueil très chaleureux d Aline et sa disponibilité si besoin.. La maison est vraiment très bien et restaurée avec beaucoup de goût. Rien ne manque Week-end à 3 couples d' amis.
