Everything just quality

Spotlessly clean, warm, good quality fixtures/fittings, just a lovely place to stay. Would recommend to anyone. The dog friendly cottages were really clean and again everything good quality.

Nothing to not like about these cottages. We hired 3 as a group and each one was different but lovely in their own way.

Very clean and warm The kitchen is very spacious and everything you need to cook and store your food living room is a good size and warm bedroom is very spacious with plenty of space for clothes bed is a good size and quiet comfortable the bathroom is also a good size and the shower is very good never used the bath but looks good This cottage (the parlour) is been done to a very high standard

Only niggel the lightning fancy bulbs that give very poor light The large chesterfield very deep needs a load of cushion behind you to sit comfortably The steps leading from the living room to the bedroom are all different heights and watch out for the one as you walk in to the bathroom The steps are very hard to see in the dark at night

Only one little tiny criticism and that would be somewhere to wet coats on the way in the property but absolutely the most beautifully well equipped place with the most comfortable bed.

A stunning cottage. Equipped to the highest standard with everything you could ever need. Everything was luxurious. Both bedrooms were ensuite and very spacious and comfortable. We loved staying here, great value for money, beautiful cottage and a stunning location. An extra thank you for helping me get my car back on the drive :)

What a fantastic and chilled long weekend we just had.

Could not ask for more. Lovely location, clean, tidy, spacious and everything you need. Highly recommended. Will definitely be returning. All 7 of our guests could not speak highly enough about our trip away.

Quiet, luxurious escape in beautiful North Yorkshire.

We stayed in the Parlour Cottage for a 3 day break to celebrate our anniversary. The cottage is absolutely stunning. You can really see the love and dedication that has been put into the cottage and the grounds surrounding it. It really is a luxury experience - from the coffee in the coffee machine to the towels in the bathroom- no expense has been spared to ensure our stay was comfortable. The bathroom is beautifully designed - the steel roll top bath has completely ruined all other baths for me! Situated close to Durham, and the coast we ventured out to explore the surroundings. Richmond is a lovely little place to visit.

It was clean and comfy, a great location, we had our own parking space, we was greeted by the lovely sheep everyday, 10 minutes into Richmond town, lovely walk to the pub.

A real gem! Fantastic stay, nothing to fault!

As a group of 8 adults , staying for 2 nights we took The Dairy and The Bulllpen. The cottages are in a beautiful rural setting with spectacular views and even had sheep onsite! We enjoyed dining outside on the patio, each complete with table, parasol and fully equipped bbq! The properties were beautiful, decorated in their own individual styles, look exactly as pictured and were exceptionally clean! We felt they had been well designed with central living zones and bedrooms at opposite ends, each with ensuite, allowing true privacy. A beautiful welcome basket greeted us on arrival containing a varierty of teas, coffee and sweet treats! The properties offered absolutely everything we could have needed for a stay! I always take everything with me as we have stayed at so many places and needed the essentials, but there was no need! From shower gel to tin foil and even ice blocks in the freezer - it's covered! We catered for 8 without issue with double the amount of essential crockery in each property and plenty of pans, cookware and utensils to choose from! Lauren was welcoming and helpful - it's reassuring to know there is someone onsite if needed. She gave us a recommendation for local taxi provider as we were attending a wedding locally and they were able to accommodate our same-day request! We enjoyed a wonderful stay with absolutely nothing to fault and would whole heartedly recommend to anyone!

Beautiful setting, cottage clean finished to high standard. Nice outside area and welcome hamper provided.

Not being given the entry code to 15.05 when allowed access to cottage at four. Made me unsettled.

Overall a nice place to stay.

Very pretty well maintained garden and grounds. Very co-ordinated decor and nice bathrooms with good showers. The beds were comfortable.

Unfortunately whilst the oven itself was clean, when we turned the grill on it started smoking very badly so we immediately turned it off. On inspection, it is covered in grease which was in danger of catching fire. Also, the saucepans are very tired and there was not a large pan for cooking pasta or rice etc. So, cooking was a bit challenging.

Fantastic accommodation, great location and overall amazing few days in North Yorkshire and we will return.

The property was absolutely superb and very spacious. The host was very helpful when the confirmation did not get confirmed to her but she went out of her way to make our stay a memorable one. Thank you so much.
