Great glamping accommodation., great meal choices, wonderful staff and excellent game drives

Tent was temperature controlled. Food was good. Nice view.

Confusing and inconvenient communications before arrival - unusual to be answering a questionnaire in a spreadsheet file. Too many different forms, and oddly-formatted emails with sometimes contradictory information. Communication needs a complete overhaul. Game drive was somewhat less interesting and enjoyable than some previous experiences, such as when I stayed at Cheetah Ridge.

Wonderful peaceful location with excellent resort facilities, rooms were spacious and comfortable with very good extras Staff were friendly, helpful and went beyond to make our stay so special food was excellent safaris magical

The game drives were amazing. We really appreciated how our game ranger (Nokwanda) shared her knowledge of both fauna and flora, and she had good tracking skills. She was attentive to the clients needs. I was able to get some great photos. I enjoyed the salmon roulade.

Was very disappointed with the accommodation, definitely not 5 star luxury compared to other 5 star safari lodges I have stayed at. A few suggestions to enhance the guest s experience: 1) the security safe was very small; suggest to install safes large enough for a laptop/ camera. 2) suggest to install a large walk in shower (outside shower lacked privacy, and it rained most of the time) in line with international trends in the rooms. 3) to train the food servers to be more friendly and attentive. When water or food was finished on the buffet, we had to ask the staff every day to replace it. Breakfast felt rushed (only 1 hour). Recommend to have breakfast from 8 to 10h00. 4) To improve on stock management. On my 1st breakfast I was told they could not make poached eggs because they were out of eggs ..not acceptable for a 5 star establishment! 5) The WiFi was very slow...needs to be improved. 6) Need to install a printer in reception..the receptionist had to keep going to the back office for printouts. 7) To build the ramp in the front entrance to the height of the game drive vehicles so it is easier to disembark especially in the rain...suggest to see the one at Cheetah ridge hotel. 8) the dinners lacked flavour, suggest to marinate the meat over night to enhance the flavour and texture. 9) First game lodge I have stayed at where we had to pay for water, cold drinks and alcoholic beverages served on the game drive...made it feel like a budget/ 3 star experience 😔
