First time using rented accommodation when visiting my hometown. This could be a 5* flat in a great location for exploring Aberdeen and surrounding area of Royal Deeside. The amenities were fantastic. Everything you need and more is available in the flat. Stocked cupboard of essentials although possible checks would ensure no BBD from 2018 are thrown away.
Cleanliness needs to be improved. All the glass tables needed cleaning as did the induction hob. Magazines from 2023 under the coffee table didn’t impress. Bedding had stains which I put in the washing machine. Thankfully there was a change of bedding in the cupboard. I am always ‘wary’ of dark bedding in rental properties. Also a suggestion would be to add a topper to the mattress and purchase new bedding. Leftover fruit which was past its best would be better of thrown out.

Good communication with the host. Location was perfect and the flat was great. The flat was well equipped and spacious. We had a great time thank you for everything!
Location was perfect but the building wasn't well maintained. But it didn't affect the quality of the flat.

The location was very good. Close to bus stops, train and bus station. Close to port and shops and entertainment/leisure activities. Flat felt very secure. It was comfortable and nicely decorated. Had everything you need for a short stay.
Noise from party goers on Friday and Saturday nights until early hours. Fortunately there was a fan, so we could close the bedroom window and have that on. It's self catering so you do need to buy provisions. You need to bring shower gel, shampoo and any food/drink you may want. A small welcome pack: tea bags/coffee sachets/milk pods/sugar would be a nice extra.
