Short break in Aberdeen

The location was very good. Close to bus stops, train and bus station. Close to port and shops and entertainment/leisure activities. Flat felt very secure. It was comfortable and nicely decorated. Had everything you need for a short stay.

Noise from party goers on Friday and Saturday nights until early hours. Fortunately there was a fan, so we could close the bedroom window and have that on. It's self catering so you do need to buy provisions. You need to bring shower gel, shampoo and any food/drink you may want. A small welcome pack: tea bags/coffee sachets/milk pods/sugar would be a nice extra.

Parts of kitchen appliances and utensils dirty. Windows didn’t open very far so flat was very warm. WiFi intermittent. Very noisy pub nearby. Lumpy mattress.

I liked the property. It was conveniently located, had good facilities and and I would certainly stay there again.

Conveniently situated in city centre. Good range of facilities in the property, and it was reasonably clean.

The furniture and crockery//pots/cutlery/bed linen were very noticeably (to my view) were like something out of a charity shop. Storage space was quite restricted in bedroom & lounge because cupboards & drawers were taken up with piles of linen.

Fantastic accomodation, a rare find and excellent value

-superb value for money, I have stayed in many apartments from booking.com for much more money for less time, and they have been horrific. This was absolutely fantastic, extremely clean, warm, had everything you need for a private self catering stay -extremely clean -very centrally located -brilliant shower pressure -the view to the harbour from the bedroom -will recommend to all family and friends and colleagues who may visit Aberdeen in the future - it is such excellent value, a real gem

Nothing, it was great. As its in a city centre you may hear drunks arguing with fog (the haar) at night, as I did, but this is to be expected 😅

Exceptional

Apartment in perfect location, and ideak for using buses and trains. Very comfortable, cosy, quiet. Had everything I needed. Recommended.

I felt it unnecessary for the owner to keep reminding me to keep apartment clean. But also, to ask initially for extra £20 payment for arriving 1 -2 hours earlier! Just to leave my baggage and go out again! Would call that a very expensive "baggage storage".

grandma's house in the city center

Prime location and well equipped

1) internet was super slow - unable even to make zoom calls. 2) everything was super old and aged, decorations are from the 90s, grandma house feeling, everything is stained and aged. 3) flocks of gulls wailing next to the bedroom at the dead of night and fire alarm kept getting triggered so don't expect a nice night's sleep 4) THE HOST: She kept badgering me over messages, accusing me of taking an old RUG from her bathroom

Quite the little haven in Aberdeen

the flat was centrally located, a 5 minute walk (with suitcase), from the train station and in the centre of the city. Access to the apartment was straightforward and the apartment itself was clean, bright, and also warm as I was visiting in February. All appliances worked and the kitchen area was well stocked, which was great for cooking as I was there for a week. I really enjoyed my stay and it was a great place to return to from work.

it could have done with providing washing up liquid but I’m sure that that was an oversight. The television could have been bigger for the size of the room.

Aberdeen Short Stay Review

1) Great location, central to everything, so easy to get around. 2) Comfortable living area with all the necessary supplies (soap, laundry liquid) 3) Good block out blinds in bedroom

1) The bedding is in need to an upgrade. The pink quilt cover is all pilled and needs replacing. 2) Parking nearby is expensive, do your research and work out what is best for you. I decided to pay the high prices for a convenient place to park the car. However something you would want to consider before booking. 3) Shower was not great, the door to access is short, when the water is on a good pressure the shower doesn't drain quick enough. Not a big issue, just something to flag.

no objection to putting the rubbish out but the bins I was directed too were not at all pleasant - was an unexpected poor way to finish my stay. however all in all I would stay here again

I am absolutely delighted with my choice, and it was the best value for money I have had in a while.

This was the best stay I have had in Aberdeen, it was beyond exceptional. The location was better than anything I could have asked for. The Shops, the harbour and museum and all other sights to see, were within a 5min walk. The apartment was very tidy, comfortable and cosy. It also felt very safe and serene. The host was very kind and polite, which made my stay even more pleasant. check-in and check-out was seamless. I have absolutely no bad reviews for this place! :)

was good but not sure if we would return due to lift issue.

the location was perfect for all shops etc.

the elevator was broken, we were informed on the day of check in but we were advised it would be sorted. the apartment has over 100 stairs, and about 10 flights to get there so not suitable for people with disabilities. Unfortunately the lift was not fixed and we had to check out early as my husband is partially paralysed and couldn’t manage the stairs. The owner has provided a small refund, not quite a full nights stay.

Lovely apartment with everything you would need whilst exploring Aberdeen.

Situated in the perfect location for the city, this apartment offered comfort and everything you would need for your trip. The hosts were very approachable and helpful. I would highly recommend staying here

Parking was an issue, the closest parking is still a little walk away which wasn't too bad but the price is very expensive. Maybe more advice on where to park with better deals would have been helpful.

A great wee find

This couldn't be a more perfect location, a minutes walk from the train station, super central but not disturbed by any noise from the local pubs. It has everything you need for your stay and felt like a home from home

My only small suggestion would be a full length mirror and, not within the owners control, but the lift was broken and I did struggle a bit with the stairs

Location was excellent Owner came as quick as possible to sort door issue Nice big apartment with everything we needed

Found the apartment very hot and struggled to sleep at night but maybe why enough to change temp myself?? Was locked in for a few hrs as door broke. Very lucky there wasn't a fire. Had ordered food tho and was few hrs late for that. Nowhere to put rubbish we could see

The location was central to all shopping. There was a security door so felt safe. The building was modern and clean. There was minimal noise from the street. Owner was extremely helpful. Great short break stay. Would stay again.
